Jocelyn shows up at the 6:40 mark, so skip ahead if you want to hear her advice or just to see her wonderfulness.
I just want to say how AWESOME my hair was in the beginning of the video :) I loved it! This is a long video, but we wanted to show you all the stuff we do on a typical travel day from filming, eating, snacking, driving, zonking out :) thank you everyone for all of your support and happy travels to you all!
Wolters World do your kids friends know about Wolters World on RUclips?
Wolters World LIVE. LAUGH. LOVE. another excellent one guys!
I would love if you could do a video on traveling as a "Husky Fellow". What can people do to prepare for the challenges of being plus sized Americans while traveling, especially overseas when larger people are uncommon. Love your videos! Thanks!
@@dee74raz yes. He has friends who watch our videos. Caleb doesnt wear any of our merchandise while Liam will throw in a Wolters world shirt for the heck of it
@Sabrina Robert I look similar to the beginning of this video :)
I love how real this one was
These personal travel vlogs are great 😀 Our sons are a lot alike lol. I started laughing when I saw Jocelyn's sunshade on the plane lol, so something I would do. I do really appreciate the realism shown here, too many vloggers try to make everything look glamorous and perfect, but that is not realistic. I love traveling, love the process, love everything about it, but it is exhausting, frustrating, and it's just amazing to finally get home and sleep in my own bed.
Thank you so much. And it is every adjective for sure
@@woltersworld On my flight to Auckland the last time the flight attendant made the couple at the window shut their blinds in a extremely friendly but also very direct way. Guess some people just enjoy the view and forget they're in there with a couple hundred other people ... Or they don't care. I would have just asked if they could shut them though ;)
I love how it's clear the boys are *adoring* being on camera. This video is really informative but watching whatever the two of them are doing in the background is just a treat. Love the vids!
More vlogs like this buddy.
Yeah, do more vlog-like videos. Like make some few-second videos from the most interesting sights of te whole trip and then stick them together like a vacation vlog
This is the go-to place for travel tips!
I want to like this comment but it's currently at 69 likes
Traveling to Europe for the first time next year. Flying to Barcelona. Concerned about taking OTC meds like cold meds, supplements, etc. How do we carry them on. Are they allowed? Do they have to be in original containers? Any help will be appreciated. Love your videos
You know it’s a party when a video starts with a shirtless scene..
I just paused. Gonna get some hot drink before I can start watching!!
I wasn't sure if I should put age restriction on this one 😎
I did NOT expect a shirtless-in-bathroom Walter opening scene either :-)
@@einat1622 we were going for the more mature crowd. They say expand your audience 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Caleb and Liam are growing up so fast. You guys seem so awesome on trips.
Jocelyn's face at the end of the flight is every mom. Cracked me up.
We're going to Paris in december so this was perfect. I love watching videos about just doing regular stuff like buying breakfast. Thanks.
One of your best, if not THE best. Great to have Jocelyn contributing so much, and seeming so calm over a very long and tiring journey. It's the sheer ordinariness of it all that impresses me so much. And the boys, of course.
Thanks Chris
Your kids seem to genuinely care for eachother. Not only are they getting to travel and see the world with 2 great parents, but you guys also seem to do a great job fostering their sibling bonds. That's awesome! Those two are gonna be life long friends. 👍
I always say that actually getting there is the worst part of travel. Ya'll did it with two little ones and the grace of true professionals! Also, kudos to Caleb for wielding those chop sticks. I cannot get the hang of them :)
This is great! Most travel vlogs are of couples with no kids. I love to watch these family travel vlogs! Especially yours. :)
That is true. Most are kids free which makes things a bit different :) Thank you for watching!
Hahahaah annoyed Jocelyn is still super awesome and funny. Very relatable
I agree
I love that the little guy is checking out the artwork. That's wonderful!
My life goal is to travel like Mark's fam! First international flight in a few months to london!
As a Brit i've never understood the hype over London.
@@captaindiego228 As an American I never understood the hype over New York or Los Angeles so same here. Come to Texas!
@@susana.i.gonzalez9874 Yeah, texas is most likely the only place in America with real culture tbh, I'd love to go one day
@@susana.i.gonzalez9874 I am from Manchester, when you do touch down in England. Try to visit surrounding cities and towns; Bath, Canterbury, York, Manchester and Liverpool; you will get such a good look at how we live, our history, culture oh you name it! London is cool, just if you stay there your entire trip; you are missing out on what England has to offer!
I have visited Texas; Marlin, Dallas, Victoria, El Paso and Houston. It is such an amazing state! I was travelling across the South and I have to say that Texas was my favorite state, I will definitely be returning!
@@captaindiego228 What culture do you think is in Texas ?
This is a really wonderful video! It was a lot of fun to see the process since I’ve never traveled outside of the USA aside from Mexico once but would love to go to Paris. Your boys are so sweet and man I feel like I’d deal with the flight about as well as Jocelyn if not much worse. Would love to see more videos like this is the future for all different kinds of trips. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this :D
Real people. Real travel. And it’s all so much fun. Thanks for sharing.
This is the new medium of entertainment/education. Please keep doing this format!! It’s like we’re chilling with you guys!
Loved seeing a day in your life as you came home from my favorite city. The next time I travel to Paris I want to stay in Montmartre ( thanks to your advice). I remember when your boys were so much younger. It’s fun watching them grow up. Caleb is such a teenager 😉 He’s going to be be a real heart throb in a couple of years. Your travel advice is so on target. I always learn things with each one.
You are just the BEST traveling family.
Oh my God those kids are very lucky to travel, I would be very excited just to go any where.
Montmartre and fresh baked goods are two of the best parts of Paris!
You guys will have a lot memories glad you guys back safe.
Your tripod set ups and thoughful lists and tips are great! Its what makes your channel unique and how it provides quality information and content. U definitely know that but im sure you get a few viewers commenting why u dont do the video as you go. U definitely inspire me to continue to find more ways to provide a nice balance of information and shots on my own videos.
Thanks for the candor. Everyone was getting punchy by the end. It shows rest of the world that even with great organization and experience traveling is not perfectly easy. What a great team nonetheless!
I really loved this video; whenever I am ending my trip, I will try to book a later flight/ferry so I can enjoy breakfast and go walk around. I can relate about going back to the same place! Whenever I am travelling Europe (usually for 3/4 weeks a time and I do this 3 times a year) and no matter where I am going, I will always go back to Brussels, Belgium as my favorite restaurant is there, I am very familiar with the city and I can sort of use it as my "down day" where I can wash my clothes, catch up on sleep and just relax and eat at my favorite spots and see familiar faces
Awesome! Wolters World the best reality show ever!! So cool!👏😅📽🎬
Thank you!
A 📺 company should do a series called Wolters World, where a camera follows you on trips.
So appreciative that you took the time and effort to show us REAL.😊👍😉
Thank you.💕
Jocelyn’s shade was hilarious! Props!
I can't believe that I just now saw this..... i love it !! Loved the surprise here @ 0130 in the morning lol lol.
I really like these types of videos too, thanks for sharing!
I just came back from Paris,Germany and Prague....the food on the plane was great!!🤣. Love your videos!!
I'm late to the party, but man oh man did I enjoy this video! Great travelin', Wolters Family! Lots of humor and love ... awww, keep these comin', guys.
I always stop for coffee on that long drive home from ORD. I’m about an hour and half from you .My daughter lives in Chicago so I usually go up the day before a flight so it’s less stress going. Thanks for all the videos😉
Your wife is so beautiful! Your children are adorable, but they may DETEST flying as adults because they’ve done it so much!
Great video as always!

Thanks for doing that, loved everything Montmartre.
More videos like this mark!!
Your videos are awesome. I watch them and watch them!!!
I'm one of the funny people that love airline food went to Italy earlier in the year with Emirates and loved the food. Also thanks Jocelyn great tip I would not have thought or had the courage to do that with the scarf but now i will. Love from Australia
You all are awesome!! I love watching your videos!! I love travel and coming home to the Midwest!!
Thanks for the advice about traveling to other countries and places and what to do and not what to do while traveling by plane, train and bus and other cool things to see and do and have fun! Thank you very much! I need to travel my self to escape my comfort zone and see new places and people, especially the United States which is my country where I was born! Keep up the good work! Love it!
ORD Terminal 5! So many bitter sweet memories there. Always good to see family when flying in, but sad when flying out.
Awesome video!
Every time we come to Paris we love Le Grenier Pain. Also the Fromagerie couple doors down.
Im really enjoy these vlogs! Reminds me of being in Paris.
Leaving for Paris for the first time on Friday!
Thank you guys for all the information. 😊
Have fun!
Thanks for sharing. Love all your videos
Great video, you all have a great input and no one is stressed and just having fun. 🇨🇮
I feel the same way about going to the same place - what feels like a second home. We have a neighborhood in Paris we always stay in as well. On our last day, I too, say "à bientôt" to our favorite restaurant, shops, etc. :)
Sweetest Couple and Family! Your vlogs are awesome, helpful , educational. The Best! Thank u both! ❤👨👩👦👦
Yay guys I’ve been waiting for this vid!! It’s currently 7 AM in California, it’s my day off so time to grab some breakfast and a blanket and watch😂❤️
Awesome :) thanks Avery :) have a great day off!
What a lovely family. Thanks for sharing!
You have a really long drive home from the airport! I don't think I could do that after a transatlantic flight....But I guess that's what a lot of Americans have to do. I can get a taxi to Luton (20 minutes drive), a train to Gatwick (1.15 hours), a train and a tube to Heathrow (less than 2 hour) or drive to Stansted (50 minutes). I guess we're really lucky to live in such a small country.
I just returned from Paris last week, along with a dozen students. We stayed at Ibis Le Defense (probably spelled wrong), and I was lucky this time with a huge shower. As a chaperone, I had my own room, and I think they gave me a room that was handicapped accessible. The shower had a bench, and no curtains, with a drain in the center of the large bathroom.
I love Paris, and hope to return without students in the near future.
I would love if you could do a video on traveling as a "Husky Fellow". What can people do to prepare for the challenges of being plus sized Americans while traveling, especially overseas when larger people are uncommon. Love your videos! Thanks!
Breanna Nordseth Try to start walking and stairs now. Build up your stamina. You will do a lot of walking in Europe. Aisle seat where you can lift the arm rest. If you can afford premium flights even if with just more leg room it is worth it. Do your research on hotels and your B&Bs. If there is an elevator if it is on the sixth floor. Read the reviews on the places especially how big the showers are. Sometimes the shower is fine but the opening to get in is very narrow.
Larger people aren’t as uncommon as you think. It depends on the country. But trust me. Go walk now and try to get to the point you can get up three flights of stairs without being too winded. You will walk miles every day. Make sure that you have good shoes. Europe has cobblestones that means it’s a more difficult walk if you have bad knees.
Also for packing compression bags for clothes and wear compression socks on the plane. Your legs will thank you.
That shower seen was an Epic surprise of a start. I hope you splurge sometimes and don't always skip things that costs a bit more, you only live once. I myself have several regrets from my trips from taking the cheaper alternative. For example i skipped going up to the Planetarium in the American Museum of Natural History where Ross and Rachel whent in the tv show Friends just to save $10. Still haunts me to this very day lol.
I appreciate you, your family and enthusiasm! You're awesome. Always love watching your videos.
Thank you
Great video. U have a beautiful family. Thank you for all your videos and the information and tips.
I love that you are so detailed in all your vedios
More of this. Behind the scenes. Love it.
Thanks for sharing your honest travel day.
1:15 OH MY GOD! I think we actually stayed at that exact same hotel when we were in Paris!
This video is bringing back so many memories for me. I really want to go back someday.
It brings the family "closer" together 🤣🤣🤣
I could absolutely feel Jocelyn's facial expression at the end of the flight. I have two kids, and I make it on every road trip. Do you all have global entry? I only just got it and didn't read if kids could get it too.
Kids can get it but they have to go through the same process as adults(ie the interview, fingerprints, etc.)
Finally Mark - vlogs! Yes!!! Bring them on!!! Would be nice if you also included how long you were in Paris, what did you see, more details about the trip
Hi... just to let you know that I use your videos to teach English... they offer great practice... in the beginning my students say... he speaks too fast... rsrsrs after some days practicing , they start feeling more comfortable with your fast English rsrsrs plus they learn great tips... thanks.
That is awesome to hear :) i am glad i can help.
I am from chicago too. Love the channel
THANK YOU!
The broccoli was just hanging on in staying green!🤣🥬
I really enjoyed this. Again, please keep them coming :)
This is a great video! Loved the realness of travel fatigue, pooped kids etc..
Our Travel day starts at 0400 leaving the In-Laws on the Czech/Polish border, drive 4 hours to Prague, wait a few hours to catch our flight back to JFK, get thru customs then deal with Brooklyn Traffic to get home to Orange County NY. about a good 20 Hrs. Oh BTW I can relate with you guys about that traffic on I-294. I know it all too well given that I am a transplant from the Chicago area.
Excelente video amigo, disfruto mucho todo lo que nos enseñas, saludos!
my wife and I went from San Francisco to hong Kong in the middle 90s and my daughters were from 9 to 14. My daughters had been flying since they were under 2 years old.
I’m with you Mark, I don’t eat airplane food. I have digestive issues and just don’t want to chance it!🤣 I normally purchase more than a few croissants, nuts, and chips for my plane ride. Been working so far. Fyi love Jocelyn videos.
Thanks for doing another one of these! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Probably a lot more than you fams enjoyed being filmed a little more than normal, lol. Cheers, and safe travels:)
Big fan of these! Good luck with going back to the real world, I'm sure the next destination isn't far away. Yassou from Rethymno, Crete.
This should be your audition tape for a family reality show. 📺
Such a beautiful family!!!
This is a great video. I had a lot of good information in it. Thanks.
Love these kind of vlogs. Do y'all ever do a lot of train travel?
Oh yes. I have a train vlog coming too from in france
Love this vlogging format!! You are naturals! 😎👍🏻❤️
Love this video. I want to go to Paris but the expenses are sooo much. Thankfully I've been saving but I'm just so scared to spend it. Videos like this make me want to pull the trigger. Awesome!
Let's go together and bump MBDTF on the way
Geo Andres-Perez do it! You won’t regret it. Traveling will provide you life changing insights that money can’t buy. Enjoy your travels 🌞
Great Video 👍. Thank you for posting.
You do some really great Vlogs, nice to watch and learn 👍
I just got home from Scotland. I hear ya on the airline food, and the crazy long travel day.
Gettting close to a MIL! Good luck!
Love these types of videos. Grazie
Love the vlogs!! The behind the scenes content is great as well!
I mean. Story of my life. Every time I go to California I always always go to the same places, year after year 😅 I like to revisit restaurants/bars/places I liked the first time. PS: lol at the man with the baguette casually passing by at the beginning of the video 😄 Thank you for this video, it was very entertaining!
What was the name of the restaurant you talked about ? Hard to read backwards and in French. Heading back to Paris next month and are watching all you old Paris videos again for a good refresher. Was glad to see some new Paris too.
otlrules La Vache et le cuisine I believe.
Your kids are so well behaved. My kid just takes off at a airport like it’s a running spree lol
I feel like Jocelyn is kind of my spirit mom. Which is funny since I'm also Joslyn. I have the same reaction to traffic.
Mark and fam just keeps on spoiling us😭🙌🏼
I really enjoy your video’s, really useful information
19:33 - 19:46, hilarious! I love it!
I didn't know you lived near Chicago! That's my home
Quincy isn't down the street but flights to ORD have to be much cheaper than that Paris-Peoria route.
Love the family after their long flight.....so ‘normal’ - oh know that feeling......try driving from Cassis France to Marseille training to Paris flying to Dubai then finally to Sydney Australian....oh yeah know the feeling haahaa
We were only in Paris for 3 days on our 6 month trip and loved it. It’s crazy busy though and the metro system is probably one of the most complicated we’ve ever seen.
But the metro will get you everywhere (and once you get the hang of it its great, but i know what you mean by the complicated part) :)
Im SOooOOOooo happy i only live 25 min from Gothenburg airport. Makes travel so much easier.
Im 1h from Arlanda in Stockholm. Pretty convenient too.
I agree having a close airport makes life so much easier. We usually fly from a closer airport but the chicago direct flight was $400 less per person so we had to suck it up and drive to chicago. Parking is expensive but not $1600 expensive :)
I live 25 minutes from, Leeds/Bradford and an 1 hour and 10 minutes from Manchester so I have the choice to start my journey from either.
Nice video!
God bless your family.
So I would love to see an update on what you now pack for your carry-on, specifically, what do you pack now for your older boys entertainment, as they are much older than the last one Joc did when she was packing them toy cars and colouring books... I’m thinking, all the electronics and headphones! As I’d be doing with my boys, LOL! Mine are now 8 & 4, and my thoughts are, what’s going to keep them sitting for 4-8 hours?
20:07 ALWAYS TAKE A DAY OFF WORK\SCHOOL after going back transatlantic time 😱
