In the English releases of Maximum Tune 3, 3DX and 3DX+, the RUF lineup of cars were not included due to Japanese Licensing or some shit like that, which included the CTR which Shima uses for the BlackBird; That's why Namco decided to take the Nissan Fairlady Z (Z33) for it, I'm guessing it's because of the dressup layout they must've thought was closest to the original BlackBird, who knows otherwise
Same goes for Ishida, in the Japanese ver of 3/3DX/3DX+ he uses a Gemballa Avalanche, while in the English ver of 3/3DX/3DX+ he uses a Subaru Alcyone SVX
