Dog should sit or stand on his legs when bathing.
MING MING maybe when milky’s fur gets wet, he feels heavier so he lies down? or maybe it’s more comfortable for him to lie down while being shampooed. from what i’ve seen, milky usually lies down whole being washed and sits or stands when being rinsed.
took him almost 3 hrs with cleaning up the aftermath.

@@stellaanon9841 A healthy dog shouldn't have urine that has a strong odor. That's the bathroom only Milky uses. There's also obviously pads of some sort all over the shower floor for Milky to pee on. One area designated for Milky and allows easy cleaning.
lana lake I visited a girl friend’s apt. She had 2 bed 2 bathrooms. Guess who uses the other bathroom also as the Guests bathroom? The dog and cats - their stuff is in there and it smells🥴🤢🤮

I can assure you that my house is spotless and thoroughly hygienic. Much more than yours, I'm sure!
Now, at the time I made my comment, I didn't know that that bathroom was only for the dog to use. I can understand it is difficult to have such a huge dog in an apartment with no backyard to go outside to when it requires the toilet.
And I do know these guys are very clean and fastidious, but no matter what, urine down a shower drain will stink because it contains bacteria and it sits in there, unlike in a toilet where it is flushed away.
I get that they have no other options though, and it's not so bad now I know it's not the bathroom they use.
I'm not a dog person in the first place because dogs are normally too smelly and dirty to me, but Milky is a very nice dog and I know how much work they put into keeping him so clean and healthy. My comment wasn't meant as an attack on them at all, but it was just a reaction I had to the thought of dog urine rotting in the drain of a shower.
The racial slur was unexpected, but that only reveals more about you as a person than anything I could ever say would.

@@stellaanon9841 Again a healthy dog's urine doesn't have a strong odor. A bathroom that's continually cleaned wont reek an odor even if he peed and it went down the drain. Also you missed the point of there being pads made specifically for dogs to pee on that's laying on the bathroom floor that's dedicated for the dog only. The urine doesn't even go near the drain in that case. Even if the urine went down the drain, it doesn't sit there for a prolonged period of time before the bathroom is cleaned. The dog takes shower there.
