Nice clip. GFR was my favorite band when I was a kid. There is quite a bit of in concert footage of them that I wasnt aware of. Thanks for uploading this. Now, where is all the footage of my other fav band from back in the day? Van Halen. So little footage of them from 78-84. There has to be some out there, right?
Bringing in the organ adds a whole new dimension, a whole different dynamic, to this song, whereas I think it took away from other GFR power-trio era numbers. Not necessarily better, but different. I like all versions equally well.
First time I heard Grand Funk. I was in K'mart music section. "Sins a good Man's Brother" Closer to Home, 8 track , speakers had about 5' separation. The guitar intro with pinging left to right to middle. Instantly was hooked. Greatest time for Power Trio and Rock.
This Band is Sooooo underrated they're nothing but awesome
Love this song! Mark is essentially GFRR they were nuts screwing him over! Could have gotten back with him any time!
Agreed
Oh yes

I'm thinking there's a reason for it maybe? There are other bands that had issues w/YT..
Top 5 Rock band in the US Rock History if you ask me
I agree totally. I had a friend that could play Don's drum solo In TNUC beat for beat, accent for accent. Still my favorite solo.
Best of all time
Oh my God I love these guys 😀❤️🎸
We loved covering this song - but NEVER as good or even CLOSE to GFRR.
