Nice video, crazy to think that Burnaby Mountain used to have some of the best trails back in the day. It’s nice to see they’re doing work on the trails there again
The city does nothing, when the local trail association wants to do work, they apply for a work order that takes forever to get approved, and all the work has to be “hiker friendly” so no drops, jumps, etx
Typical city processes, slowing down progress towards anything good. I can definitely see how these trails are becoming increasingly hiker friendly, even though I have only ridden them for the past couple of years.
Awesome, so many laps down that trail back in tha day! Trip down memory lane

Yeah the trails are decently maintained but Burnaby Mountain is no longer renowned for mountain biking it seems.

@@MountainBikeAlec yeah, it does seem most cities are against mountain biking really, just look at what happened with the jumps at Bert Flinn
