Mountain biking as many trails as I can.
When I was starting out, finding straight up, simple, good quality, POV trail videos that were to the point seemed to be more frustrating than it should of been. Lots of videos posted either contain too many trails in them, wasting time searching for what you really want, or are full of editing chaff.
This channel is dedicated to providing trail specific POV riding videos that are top to bottom in a reasonably short time with minimal added nonsense.
Based in BC, I will be covering trail riding areas on the north shore, up the sea to sky, through the valley, as well as some areas in the Okanagan.

I am not sure when this trail was built but it seems like the berms could be quite sunken in. It seems like this trail could be really fast if the berms were there to support it. Trailforks: www.trailforks.com/trails/the-flying-nun-upper/ www.trailforks.com/trails/the-flying-nun-lower/

Trail Gap | Flow Coaster - Three Blind Mice
I was aware that these trails were on the chopping block due to development, but I did not know that the area is going to be logged. Welcome to capitalism my friends.
This video has been a life saver while I plan my rebuild of the trail. Thanks for the great pov videos!
Hey! That's awesome! Thanks for building the great trails. Glad my documenting of them helps.
You, what camera are you on? I'm in the market.
I am using the hero 11 black mini.
But honestly I am not really a fan of go pro. I think maybe DJI and Insta 360 might be better, but I have not explored using those.
Wiped out hard off of that first drop on my last day of the season. Can’t wait to go back next year and clean it! Although I don’t think my L frame will do well on those skinnies either.
Damn hope you and your bike are okay. Yeah the skinny with the turn in it followed by bar checks was difficult for my L frame. I either needed to have a perfect edge to edge turning line or do an small endo mid turn.
How is that a black diamond...
Do a flip
you should try their new jump trail, i think its called weeping woods
in kelowna? maybe i should go check it out.
meatgrinder is my favorite tech trail.
Nice dude! Weather still looking great! One of the last ones of the season?
This one is from back in the spring. I'll see if I get around to processing more of the footage from early summer.
Very nice! Looks like a great trail, where is that at?
This trail is in the Rubberhead network north east of Salmon Arm.
This is there. FLOW. Trail !!!? Lolwtf
I don't understand your question.
Yo Alec! It's Koen from the 99 mile trails and especially Kraken. I have a cabin near Three Blind Mice and absolutely love them! If you haven't already you should try Flow Coaster. I recently got a new GoPro and I'm gonna start making content as well. Love that you are riding up in Penticton and if you're still in the area I suggest the Fireman's and Rail trail at China Ridge in Princeton (BC).
Hey man! Good to hear from you. I cleared the flow coaster gap well this year. Super fun trail. I have yet to do the others you mentioned so I'll add them to my radar.
Well ridden. I was riding Kelowna this summer, I did Woobly Pops and stayed down lower. Looks like I missed some good stuff. I'll have to get back there soon. Subscribed :).
There is just a ludicrous amount of trails in the okanagan. Tons of good stuff. Thanks!
I would love to live close to there (kelowna, but BC in general), but I live in a part of the netherlands where the closest trail is 20 Miles away
As far as I know the netherlands is not renowned for its elevation change either.
@@MountainBikeAlec yeah true where I live the highest land point is the bus track (+-5 meters)
Or a 45 minute drive would get me a maximum elevation of 69,2 meters (Amerongse berg), and the highest point is in the most southeastern point (Vaalserberg) but still only 322 meters…
Been loving the videos, keep 'em coming!
Thanks man!
Hi Alec 😊❤
This trail is the oldest in the area. Built in the mid 90s when rim brakes and 2 inches of front suspension was all there was. It was a legitimate black back then, but since then the trail has been dumbed down a lot.
Bojo built a good one here
the steepness of some of these drops don't translate very well on video sadly
Exactly, they are way more fun in person!
wow what a sick trail
Yeah its a good one.
🚴🤘🏻
NEW SUSBCRIBER HERE !!! Keep riding bro!!!👌👌❤❤👍👍
Nice!
Thanks man! Will do.
Nicely done, are you planning on revisiting it later on?
Yeah man I have to clear that section with the steep in between the narrow walls.
If you want some unofficial/unsanctioned video -= Wiltse :)
When you said fairly overgrown, I was looking where you needed to go, I've lost the path so many times...
Not very ridden indeed. Everyone is too busy riding drops a lot or rainbow>bronco :).
Beginning to like those jumps more eh?
Yup! Been taking me long enough but my jumping confidence is coming along.
Thanks for this video - did this trail today! Loved it.
Its a good one!
Rode this for the first time yesterday. That double chute was the one thing to catch me out haha. Thought I was done and was not really prepared for the second half so took a strategic (lay the bike down) before I got in real trouble haha
Same thing happened to me on my first go there. Watch out for the dusty conditions on this trail, which make that section particularly more difficult.
Been watching your vids for a while now and man do you ride a lot of places - so cool! Im moving to the coast soon and was wondering if you had a favorite trail? :D
Nice! Thanks for watching. Yeah I try to get around to as many different trails as I can. The favourite trail question is extremely difficult to answer. There are too many great trails and you can find awesome fun to be had on pretty much any mountain.
@@MountainBikeAlec totally! I was meaning your favorite trail (or a must do) on the coast as I will be moving there later this month (Fromme, Seymour, Burke, etc.)
@@mackfrater7157 Alrighty, I'll give you one trail per mountain. Fromme: Pipeline. Seymour: Pangor. Burke: Deliverance. Eagle: Marvin. Woodlot: Krazy Karpenter.
love that trail. embrace the drift 😄 there was a stampede of horses and cows when we were out there lol
looks fun, looks a bit flat so would be good fun for the ebike!
Were you in clip pedals?
No, I ride flats.
*First.*
Nice
Alex if you are still in the area - Wiltse - ride Witse
Pardon my typing :) Alec
Yooo, which trails at Wiltse?
@@MountainBikeAlec They were taken off Trail Forks. That's where the real riding in Penticton is. If you look at Strava Heat maps you will find them :)
@@MAEBikr Good to know thanks 👍
@@MountainBikeAlec You can look at Videos from letsgoridebikes or the loam ranger who have been in the area
love your videos man!
Thanks!
What bike is that?
Evil Wreckoning 2022
Nice riding!
Thanks!
Are longer handle bars better for tye trail? Pr should i get a short one?
Depends. Longer handlebars are more stable and provide better control, but you also want to consider your body's geometry, with regards to arm length in combination with the other bike geometry. Ultimately I think comfort over long riding times is most important, so you'll need to sit on some bikes at the shop to get a feel for it. I think my bars are on the longer side at ~810mm, and most modern bikes range from 750 to 800ish, for that wider more stable feel.
Fair play dude, that's some going
I tought that this was a game for oculus Vr thats scary!
So impressive😬
Wow that’s so scary, I could never do that bit around the rock at three-quarters
Cool
Wow
Hop to the left to that ramp would’ve been nice
"Cool"
Fun looking trail. A bit above my paygrade I think...Maybe I'll be there one day.
NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE !!! Keep riding bro!!!👍👍❤❤
Nice, thanks!
