I (unfortunately) have had to install these. It's an easy job and a pain in the hoo hahs, don't know why. Great job Tina, but much easier with help. Love the cat. Just lost my Tiggy at almost 18 years, she used to help me too, made me laugh at myself anyway.
Good job on the repair and re-installation on the side window mirror unit. Those cap nuts work good, who ever had Roadie before probably over tightened it. When a person hits the top of the cap nut you have to stop, ask me how I know, hmm! Well, back when I was a young man in my late teens early twenties I over-tightened one a pushed the bolt through the nut, whoops! 😁 Thanks Model T for the repair video, loved watching and thanks Paul for helping. I hope you all have a super week, what's left, stay safe and I'll see you both on the next one!👍
Good job Tina , I would recommend you to use some lock tight from permatex on those treads, it always gives an extra safety, due to vibration to avoid loosing the nuts and the most important the glass! In overall I loved the back ground farm ambience 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I need to reinstall the wind wings on my 1930 Roadster. Lost one glass to the road so I took them off. Glad to see the proper orientation of the nuts on the pivoting parts. My set are reproductions, quality is not as good as originals. Have one original. 1930's wind wing brackets are somewhat different.
Hi! Unfortunately the part that’s broken is permanently attached to one of the brackets, only one side of bracket unscrews and comes off, so I had to take the pads off and glue to new one. Have nice day and thank you! 💕
Muy bueno! Soy seguidor de Paul, soy de Argentina y más de una vez comenté que este la opción para traducir el vídeo, como acá en tu canal, sumarían más seguidores, muchas gracias
Nice video. I am about to re-mount my wings and this vid helped a lot. I particularly like your side mirrors. I found some on the CW Moss site and will be installing those as well.
Well done and thank you for teaching us! I admire your dexterity. I would have to tap the bolt out with a rubber mallet, and wrap the ratchet with duct tape to avoid potential paint scratches. A Shop Tiger was an excellent helper! Well, maybe that other fella was helpful too 😉. Have a great week ~ Chuck
Hi! It’s missing the paint there, someone must have had something mounted there at one time before it was painted last and took it off after. Eventually I’ll be matching the paint and touching up spots like that on the body. Have a nice day! 💕
There is another RUclips channel, where this guy named Pat (or Pete or something that starts with a 'P') works on Model A stuff. But he is pretty boring, your channel is a whole lot more interesting! 🙂
Hello Mrs Shinn, I understand Paul is running for office in the MODEL A CLUB OF AMERICA, i fully support his run but i can not find a ballot in my july/August issue of the Restorer mag. Can yall advise?
Hi! Yes he is 💕 Oh wow, I wonder what happened? Maybe get ahold of MAFCA and ask for a ballet? Not sure how all of that works. Thank you for your support!
I am doing the same with my Model A. New Glass. Can you tell me what I need to do with the small adjustment screw between the brackets? I am assuming it keeps the brackets tight on the glass. How or when do you adjust that?
Hi sorry it takes a bit to get back…you would tighten the screw first on the bracket once it’s on the window, the bracket will spread which will then allow you to tighten the whole bracket to the window. That was the problem with that one bracket of mine, it was missing that screw and I didn’t realize…the bracket wasn’t tightening against the window…once Paul realized that screw was missing, he put one in there, tightened it till bracket spread and then I was able tighten the whole bracket to the window. I hope that helps
I'm sorry, but your wings are too small to fly! You need big, Dumbo sized wings! What? You say their not for flying? That changes everything! Have a nice day! Enjoyed the show.
Honest face, honest soul. TINA for PREZ. 2024!
Awe…you’re so sweet!!! 💕
You and the hubby working as a team while Dylan supervises. Roadie is happy with his new wind wing brackets.
Thank you for the sweet message 💕
I remember my grandfather was well as my dad repairing the broken bolt on the bracket
Only a true mechanic knows anything is a hammer besides an actual hammer lol I enjoy your videos!
😂 whatever gets the job done! Thank you! 💗

Thank you for the share! She lived a long time, wonderful! We had a cat that lived to be 24 years old! Take care!

Great job Model T, nicely done. Enjoy your weekend.
Thank you so much 💕 enjoy your weekend also!
Great Job! Now Roadie doesn't have to have a hose clamp holding on his right side wind wing! Thanks to Shop Tiger, and Paul for their gracious help!
Thank you for your awesome message! 💗

I wonder if possibly someone on MAFCA Facebook page or something like that, if you put that you’re looking for a pair to match your originals…
Thanks for sharing Model T.... Nice shirt too. Have a great day 🙂
Thank you so much 💕 have an awesome rest of your week!
Cheers
Always enjoy watching you master and try new skills
Hey thank you! I enjoy working on projects for the Model A so much! 💕 Have an awesome day!
Great video ,I just happened to be working on my wind wing window windows And I wasn't finding a lot of information on that so thank you very much
Thank you so much, I’m happy I could help 💕
Shoot would be easier to install the old unbroken part with the new to avoid the gluing?
Must be a reason. 😊
Cool shirt ❤
Awe cute kitty. 😊

Good job! Nice to have extra parts!!
Thank you 💗
Nice Tena, I miss wing windows, one could roll down the window push the wing window into a rainstorm vent the car yet stay dry.
That’s awesome! Thank you 💕

I love the way those look but it would make me nervous the way the glass is held to the bracket.
Thank you! Honestly I feel your concern, it seems like it wouldn’t work but somehow it does lol 💗

Question: Why is there a BLACK line on the window frame of the drivers side at the wing mount? Good job. Good Video.😊

Tina, great videos. You need to get better audio. The sound is very low. Love your videos.
Thank you so much! I’ll have to use mics again, having issues with them not working all the time. Have a nice day!
looks good! gould you do a video about putting the top up and down?
Thank you! Absolutely, it’s actually on my list to do! Have a great week! 💗
@@Modeltshinn you have a good week also
Tina, I noticed that on the driver's side windshield frame, the paint needs touchup. Is this on the to do list?
Hi, yes it’s on my to do list, I’ll actually be getting proper paint for touching up places like that on the body. Take care! 💕

When you said "get some help", did you mean Paul or Shop Tiger?
Hahaha, Paul, but shop tiger comes with the package I’m finding 😂💗
You were lucky-remove the glass first
If I have a chance, I’ll try it that way next time 😁
You’re more interesting than Paul…. No offense Paul
😂 I don’t think that’s possible, but thank you! 💗
