Brown Video Portfolio (Accepted Class of 2028)

Here is my brother's accepted Brown video portfolio! As part of the application process to Brown University, applicants are asked to send in a 2-minute video portfolio of themselves, which accomplishes much of the same goals as a typical college interview. What's the career / job he could do with a linguistics Major?

There’s a lot of different routes he could take. If he’s more interested in a humanities approach, he could go into diplomacy or foreign relations. If he’s more interested in computational work, he could go into language processing and work on things like ChatGPT. If he’s more interested in psychological work, he could go into speech therapy or neuro research

It'll be almost impossible to get those jobs with this major. Since the forces are too general. It's like you can't do anything if you just took Health Science.
