In an age of cynicism, game journalists focusing only on negatives, and constant pessimistic opinions, Easy Allies is just the most FEEL GOOD vibes ever when it comes to something they are hyped about. I had the biggest smile watching their reaction to this trailer. BEST IN THE BIZ!!!!
I cannot stress enough how absolutely mind blown I am by how phenomenal this game looks. This has the potential to be SE’s biggest game of all time. I cannot wait. I’m taking an entire week off work for this release. I’ve waited so long, it’s finally here
I think it's my favorite trailer from the series. It showed me everything I wanted to see and to know it has roughly 100 hours of playtime is incredible. I'm definitely taking the whole week when it comes out too. I will not be able to work from home when I've got Rebirth in the other room 😂

This seems to be a prompt for you to press the attack button again for either more damage or to do a combo. Reminds me of the Legend of Dragoon strike timing.

I feel like Chapter 8-9 of Remake and the positive reception that section got gave the devs more confidence to lean into FF7's inherent silliness, which is definitely gonna be needed for the portions outside Midgar. Everything around Zack makes me nervous but the rest of the trailer is undoubtedly charming and awesome.
The bull is Kujata, the weapon is Saphire Weapon (the one that dies hit by Junon's canon and you never get to fight yourself, altough I believe Rebirth will let us fight it).
On Sapphire Weapon he's probably not gonna be playable but considering we fight Emerald underwater it has me thinking now that Square might have to create an entire underwater combat moveset if they're gonna be faithful and have use fight it underwater because the combat is not just commands now we have to dodge and move around block and not all attacks will look good underwater this might actually become a thing in part 3

You make a good point about underwater combat, let’s see how they handle that, although it's probably something for part 3 (Tifa was underwater on that cutscene with Saphire, so maybe they did something about it now already).

Haha I think people don’t recognize him at first until you frame by frame it. It definitely took me a while to realize what it was. My gosh I love hearing the new world map theme in this trailer. I’m vibing so hard to it. Also love seeing the owner of Gold Saucer, Dio. Definitely as large like in the original, but they clothed him in more than just a speedo

I've gotta better shit to be doing than wasting it on useless money grubbing box. I had a PS4 years ago and all it did was sit there and gathered dust because there was nothing worthwhile to play on the damn thing. I'm not gonna make the same mistake with a PS5. Consoles are simply not worth the hype anymore because at the end of the day it's just wasted money and I don't have pay the scam that is' PS Plus either. Exclusives are no longer exclusive because other platforms still get the last laugh. Crossplay is now a thing for multiplayer games and it doesn't matter what platform you're on. Funny enough my PS3 and my PS2 are still very much alive since the day bought them and and still have fun with them from time to time but at the end of the day PC is just where it's at and my Steam Deck keeps me entertained on the road. There's so much more you can do with a PC compared to walled garden like PS or Xbox.
More details got revealed in the newest article on PlayStation blog and other interviews: - 100 hours of gameplay - The climax of this game will include The Forgotten Capital, but no Wutai until part 3 - You will "control sephiroth in the same part as the original game" - Not all party members will be playable until part 3, but those that you can not control will be companion characters like Red XIII was in part 1. (This problaly hints that Cid will be a guest character like Red was in Remake) - No save data transfer, but you get Leviathan for Remake and Ramuh for Intermission episode save data.

@@already_in_use_ we will know for sure when the game release, if that happens on Zack timeline or Cloud. In Cloud timeline we pretty much still follow the original scenario. In Zack timeline is very chaotic, not weird if weapons awake earlier there. And sephiroth seems to want to merge 2 world to become 1.
That thumbnail sums up what I want from the game. The overarching story is cool but I want more focus on the party itself and the relationships that build. The dynamic between Yuffie, Tifa and Aerith should be really fun and I hope the sidequests also focus on our heroes rather than random NPC's

That could then further the plot of Zach being a part of the party in part 3 for revenge........ OMG....what if thats the title of part 3? FF7 Revenge....goes with the Remake/Rebirth theme of naming and would make since if the events listed above happens...
