I live in Thailand. I went on a date with a Korean guy i met online. He barely spoke any English or understood even the basic words. I basically used the translator the whole time. There were times i would forget he didn't speak English, so i would say something then he would respond with "no Englisher" 😂😂😂. First dates are awkward and kind of exhausting from nerves. Lack of a common language makes it just worse. We finished our lunch in less than an hour. I just had to dip. We couldn't communicate I don't know how people do it. I could never see myself with someone i can't have a one on one convo with because of language barrier. Didn't see him again even though he reached out again. How do ya'll navigate through this. Like how, do ya'll connect with very limited verbal communication. I can't😂😂.
