Thanks for upload been looking for this for ages.Ive always said hendrys break in the final frame was one of the best ever. Some of those pots under pressure were ridiculous.fearless. Incredible self belief.
Hendry - the most determined and resolute player ever. Winning and the manner of winning was absolute food, drink and breathe to him. I wonder whether that intensity will come back as he settles into his return to the game.
1st + 2nd session is 480p and this session is 240p, really appreciate the upload as I was there myself back in 2002. Is there any chance of a better quality?
Sorry mate. It was the video I recored it on at the time. Unless someone can show me how to get a better picture of a recording that's awful then this is what we're stuck with.
The semi final with O Sullivan and the final with Ebdon is better remembered from 2002 but the final frame in this match was arguably Hendry s best frame of the championship, to pot the cut back on the black and then the red along the cushion at pace when he knew he was putting Doherty right in amongst the balls if he missed took a lot of bottle, it was a pity he couldn’t repeat it from an easier position in the deciding frame in the final, he probably played some better snooker in this championship than in other years when he won.
Yip ive always remembered that final frame. The pots under pressure were incredible.one of the best breaks ever but never gets mentioned by so called snooker experts.
A Shame he didn't win this crucible would of been the toughest anyone has ever won along with his 1999 triumph. Doherty, Ronnie and then Ebdon all back to back world class players

Yes the final frame against Ebdon he had so many chances. Best clearance ever here
Incredible shot but Ebdon yellow against Stevens in this tournament was even better imo
one of the great match winning breaks
Great game shame Stephen didn't win the wc that year
Excellent match. Well worth watching (thanks!)
That final frame from hendry is insane. Pure blood and guts stuff.
That's why he is still way better than Trump, no doubt the Kind of the Crucible.

great upload!thanks a lot
Two legends
Says who ken is not a superb competitor? Hendry is on the verge of decline since 2000era onwards. Tough match.
Probably as good a break as Alex higgins break in 1982 semi final
Even better imo. Bcos if he got the first pot wrong it may very well of been game over
