EVEN in his home state Florida he installed red flag laws and OPEN carrry is banned unless your hunting camping or fishing and even then the police stop you and force you to give up your ID and they take down the SS numbers of your fire arms and add then to the illegal registry

That S.O.B. from Everytown, that is supposedly a veteran, is a damned disgrace to everyone that served our nation in the military. Any genuine veteran would never advocate for the government being able to arbitrarily strip the rights of anyone, especially a fellow veteran. That is my opinion as a veteran.

      @Mitch_Conner75926 14 дней назад +14

Well serving in the military doesn’t mean you’re a patriot. It just means you served in the military. In fact large portions of the military aren’t even there to serve their country, they’re doing it for benefits. So being a veteran doesn’t actually mean anything, it’s completely dependent on the person and their values.

Magistrates refuse to allow people due process in front of their accuser, then people get sent away by police officers to psychiatriac hospitals and rights taken without any due process or care. Yet, they tell me I can’t own guns even though they violated my due process rights for something that would be tossed out in real court.
I need to speak out also about the fact that many corrupted courts purposely leave out our due process protections intentionally on purpose and they make “us” pay for the rights restoration lawyers with thousands of dollars even though they should be paying the lawyers to help with gun rights restoration.

As a veteran who served ‘72-‘81 I’ve seen better treatment from civilian doctors than VA doctors. The waiting times suck going to VA. The 2A should be from 18 and up, if they can go die for their country with a gun, show me the difference. If having problems balancing a checkbook makes you unsafe to have a firearm, then a large percentage of this country, shouldn’t have firearms under this way of thinking. The President promised common sense in government, I hope he lives up to it. Red flag laws are unconstitutional as everyone should have a trial, not some judge deciding to take your firearms away. We veterans deserve better as “All gave some, some gave all “.

I’ve watched this country struggle with the infighting and the country that I used to love is dying at an alarming rate. Taking any citizens firearm rights because they have anxiety, Depression, or PTSD is Unconstitutional. First off, they have not done anything wrong, and secondly, half of our citizens will avoid treatment to keep their rights and that will only make the situation worse. A citizen's 2nd Amendment rights should not be able to be taken away unless they commit a crime with a firearm, and once they pay their debt to society and are released from incarceration, they should automatically get their firearm rights back. Taking away a person's 2nd Amendments Rights for any other type of crime is wrong and Unconstitutional. There is no reason for the government to do this to people, except because they don't like the 2nd Amendment and want to remove as many guns from public as possible, and their feelings are irrelevant. It should be a crime to take a person's rights for any unlawful reason such as a crime that doesn't even correlate to guns in any way.

I am in the fight for the 2A for all Californians and I'm going to expose many things. I am about to sue Riverside County and California for their unconstitutional CCW scheme in Federal Court. I was denied my CCW after appeal and I'm an FFL, I have an out-of-state CCW, I'm a range safety officer, I'm well trained, no drug or mental health history, and i can buy firearms and pass a NICS background check. I also have a letter from the DOJ and NICS saying i can Buy, possess and carry firearms but since Chad Bianco and his CCW unit didn't like me for whatever reason my right to carry is now infringed based on Arbitrary Rules and Subjective Standards against The Bruen decision and other SCOTUS rulings. I was told my case is a winner but i just need to find an attorney who is willing to start this with me.
I asked AI if Riverside County CCW scheme was Unconstitutional. This is what it said.......
The key question revolves around whether Riverside County’s CCW scheme complies with constitutional standards post-Bruen. The Supreme Court emphasized that rights protected by the Second Amendment should not require individuals to demonstrate special needs or burdensome criteria imposed by state or local governments.
Good Cause Requirement: The requirement for applicants to show “good cause” is now viewed as overly restrictive and likely unconstitutional based on the precedent set by Bruen. This suggests that any similar requirement in Riverside County would face significant legal challenges.
Subjective Criteria: The use of subjective assessments regarding an applicant’s moral character raises further concerns about constitutionality. Legal experts have pointed out that such criteria could lead to arbitrary decisions and discrimination against certain groups of people.
Recent Injunctions: The permanent injunction against discouraging non-citizens from applying indicates judicial recognition of broader access rights under the Second Amendment, which may extend to all lawful residents regardless of citizenship status.
Given these factors, it is reasonable to conclude that aspects of Riverside County’s CCW scheme are indeed unconstitutional as they conflict with both the spirit and letter of recent Supreme Court rulings regarding gun rights.
    Conclusion
Based on these considerations, the Riverside County CCW scheme is likely unconstitutional, particularly concerning its previous requirements for demonstrating good cause and other subjective assessments related to moral character.
That's the thing about it. Most "2A Organizations" have no interest in overturning permitting schemes especially in California. They are affiliated with, have holdings or just make way too much money to overturn the CCW Permitting Schemes. It's literally a giant money grab due to Training, application fees, mental evaluations, and attorneys making money off CCW Appeals for denials. In California an attorney will charge $5000 to $10,000 dollars for a CCW Denial Appeal. Do you think they want to overturn the CCW permitting system? Also in California some CCW issuing agencies use private companies like PERMITIUM to process applications with a standard fee of $125+. Think about it. If you charge $125 and your PRIVATE company processes 100,000 new applications and another 150,000 renewals every year your PRIVATE company is making $62,500,000 every year just processing applications. Then add training, psych evaluations and other fees, you'll see they are making money hands over fist. I would volunteer for a 2A organization and I saw first hand how many in leadership either are CCW trainers or involved with companies that provide training. Michele and Associates do not work pro Bono for members and are one of the ones charging $10,000 just to start an appeal with other fees piling up. Our rights are being sold at a high price and no one wants to do anything about it. I'm looking for an attorney who would use my case and my denial to overturn California's Unconstitutional CCW scheme but not one has any interest. I'm an FFL, highly trained in firearms, range safety officer, DOJ confirmed I can own, possess and buy firearms, no drug or mental health history and nothing in my record that makes me a disqualified person yet the courts still used false allegations from my ex wife and a dismissed case to use towards my denial. The paperwork filed against me using false allegations said "PROSECUTOR REFUSAL" because the investigator knew she was high on drugs and full of crap using the system to try to get back at me for leaving her after she abused my daughter and I found her stash of meth, heroin and syringes.
To prove my point if you're a Riverside County Resident who was denied contact CRPA and ask them to start a case against Riverside County or to file a Writ of Mandate and they will turn you down. Why did they choose to sue Los Angeles and refuse to sue Riverside? Too much money being made. Look it up. Earlier this year Riverside County Sheriff held a CCW Symposium and guess who was to benefit from all the money made at the event? You guessed it, CRPA!!! This is a conflict of interest for CRPA members paying dues in Riverside. We don't want our 2A organizations to be in bed with Tyrants for monetary gain. CRPA only opens cases that will make them and their president Michele and Associates money because they open cases and drag them out to milk the organizations money from Donations. it's a grift and a money grab. I'll prove you don't have to pay lease fees, salaries, dinners and parties to change laws. We the PEOPLE can start lawsuits and save Billions of dollars!

Veterans being denied our right to keep and bear arms will heavily disincentivize us from seeking help. I'm going through the VA process right now (never saw combat) for my back, I would not be willing to even speak to the VA if this could cause me to lose my rights.

Exactly where did the VA get the authority to report and determine that a veteran should be denied ANY Constitutional right whatsoever? They have no authority to make laws. Any rule they make can only implement a law passed by Congress. Ultimately it is the fault of Congress that the VA and other agencies make rules with the force of law because Congress refuses to do the job for which they are elected. They write vague, ambiguous bills that gives the agencies the broad authority to write rules and regulations often completely at odds with the letter of the bill and of the intent of Congress. Congress needs to strip them of such authority and begin writing LAWS with explicit specificity of their meaning and intent.

All unconstitutional gun law should be withhold until supreme court ruling it constitutional. Not other way around. States should have no right to pass an constitution law and take years to restore that right. That is not right and it is often too late!

I was denied my pistol permit application just last year. The judge looked right at me and told me that I may have an undiagnosed case of PTSD from my time in the Marines. I have no criminal record or any history of mental health issues, and after hearing what the judge said to me, I was very upset. I didn't understand how someone who never committed any violent crimes and just went about their day just like every hard-working Americans in this country get their constitutional rights denied.

Yea. Red flag laws have their place but without a fair and established process I can't see them as anything other than unconstitutional. The state needs a legal authority to disarm people in a crisis or who are a genuine threat. At the same time those people need a fair and legal process to protect their rights.

  • @mitchalvin

If the people are not responsible enough to defend themselves, then they should not be able to have any of the bill of rights or the right to vote in election. Stop treating the second amendment as a option for the right people only, if they are unable to have the right to keep, bear, and acquire firearms then they should not be able to vote.
