Very few people pad bars now days as tight as the cockpit is and with modern seats if you move enough to need that padding you’ve got bigger problems. Plus it’s hard enough to get out of a modern cockpit in a hurry without having padding making the hole even tighter
After watching the Stapleton42 video here on RUclips from Randy LaJoies' shop where these seats are manufactured, I believe that I prefer the LaJoie seat over something, such as the Butlerbuilt seat now.

So I definitely would purchase a seat from Randy LaJoie after watching the Stapleton42 video. Because from my perspective Randy truly gets it. Yes he is actively wanting to sell you a seat, yet he is also a racer who gets it as well.
Been a minute since hearing the GRT name. I knew that GRT made dirt late models, not so much on the modified side. Another chassis I haven't heard in a while is Dirtworks. Anyway, good luck with the GRT, get that dang Impressive done, will ya.
GRT under new ownership is building mods and some late models from what I gathered from the GRT RUclips video from the new ownership. DirtWorks was purchased by the Hoffman who owns Springfield Raceway. Anyways I have seen that they are building cars still, because I seen that Scott Drakes son is driving a DirtWorks cars.
Tim, you cannot do any worse than the guy in the modified setup video, a person could get out of the Stock Car or Circle Track magazines. Because back in the early 90s I purchased the video, and the build and setup book for modified's during the 90s. (from Flex Flyer chassis')

Is it a GRT by JGR or by Terry Phillips ? Both those guys are awesome drivers.
