rocksteady is defined by the tempo a.k.a. the beat , LLOYD PARKS is good , but in many instancies the intricacies of the rocksteady baselines eludes him , i was fortunate enough to be at one of the STUDIO ONE reunion shows where the likes of TOMMY McCOOK , ROLAND ALPHONSO , etc , some of the creators of ROCKSTEADY was the backing band , to put simply i stood at the front of the stage in AWE ! .
Coxsone Dodd turn nuff singer and musician like Delroy Wilson inna alcoholic. Instead of paying them their monetary dues he bought them rum, Jackie Mittoo is another Coxsone victim!!
