Wellseal ...Once smelled never forgotten, great stuff.. Those flywheels seem massive by today's standards.... Sensible design those the through studs for joining the case halves, you don't end up inheriting a previous owner's stripped threads. I do like pre-unit construction, always found it easier to work on than unit motors, only needing to disturb the bit with the problem..
Hello Thank you for watching my vid. Hope the Wellseal works, I put some on the replacement copper head gasket too, hope i did the right thing. Yes those flywheels weigh 28lbs, the 250cc piston manages to spin them up quite nicely and maintains good steady pace. didn't give the through studs much thought until you mentioned it but now see the advantage.
