Although I dearly love my family, growing up, I had a particularly special relationship with my grandfather. My mother always took me to my grandparents' house on weekends. While my father worked hard to provide for us, I will always be forever grateful for my upbringing and memories. Do whatever it takes. As Jesus said if your eye causes you to sin pluck it out or a hand cut it off…. Of course we know by this hyperbole how serious He is about sin. Whatever is keeping you from intimacy with Jesus cut it out of your life. It’s not worth it. There is consequences to sin and it’s ugly. In Christ we overcome. You have to want to be well. Everyday I praise even when my flesh doesn’t feel like it. I get up and seek Him first. Truly there is no life without Him. The sickness of our sin and the enemy of our soul steals kills and destroys. You can have abundance in Christ no matter what your circumstances are you can have His peace again. You can have Joy that cup that runs over. Get into the secret place. Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven-for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.” Luke 7:47 When we know how much is forgiven us we don’t want to hurt the one we love who loved us first while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Love you Jesus loves you far more. We love because He loved us first. 1 John 4:19
