I love that sweet, musty smell when you first get inside the building. This soundtrack almost makes me smell it during the first :55.

The Pirates of the Carribean ride is one of my favorite rides at Disneyland Anaheim California. When I listen to this soundtrack it seems like I am already on the ride the entire time. Some day I wish to return to Disneyland when things are going to be getting better with the COVID 19 precautions.

For a year lockdown's kept us out, but end oif this month, and we can go back.
I like how they even included the water sound and the boat sound. BTW they are changing the red head to a pirate. That is why the ride is closed right now.

Jack I don't think it's stupid. It makes it seem like you're on the ride. That's what I like about it
But the red head auction seen is a classic and is historically accurate to the time, however this new scene is not. They only changed it to make it more politically correct which shouldn't be an issue if you are displaying history or a depiction of history and no one was complaining about it anyway, so it was pretty stupid
Jack there are a lot of people who said that selling women to be wives and have sex with is pretty messed up. I know that that's how it was back then but. It's just not appropriate for children. It would be cool to have a woman pirate too though
Jack AGREE. I'm SO tired of "politically correct" ruining this ride I could barf. First, they had to pretend that the pirates are chasing food instead of wenches around the building--and now this crap with changing the Buy-A-Wench-For-A-Bride thing.
This whole ride was NEVER PC--think about it. Realistically, pirates in general weren't PC. Should they just scrap the entire ride, then? Because, basically, that's the same logic behind changing all the classic scenes.The rides been just fine for children up to this point--I've been riding it since I was 3 and I didn't grow up with a warped sense of reality in regards to women or anything else as a result of this ride. I don't feel emotionally scarred...good LORD. What a load of horse 💩
I haven't been on it since this latest bastardization of the ride--I really want to remember it the way it was, but it's my favorite ride and I used to have an annual pass for years, so I suppose eventually, I'll HAVE to get on it again. Think I'll just look at the other side of the boat during that section and pretend they didn't further ruin it.

I agree. Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean...It doesn't get any better than that!! Blue Bayou is my favorite restaurant there!

He was the voice of Tony The Tiger for 50 years,
and sung You're A Mean One, Mr Grinch. To name a few.
