Most people just want to see how to get from point A to point B and an opportunity to reverse that without reentering the addresses. Also, travel method is hard to find
@@InTheKitchenWithPeteuse Siri: Hold down the home button until Siri icon displays and say “Navigate to (place)” if traveling there from current location. For other than from current location say: “Navigate from (place A) to (place B).” Apple Maps opens with the “from” and “to” fields populated. 😊
Didn't tell how to enter a simple request to get from here to there. IOS 17 appears to have made maps more complicated than before. Directions button disappears and you cant reverse directions like you used to. You have to cancel then re enter the addresses in reverse order
As a tutorial, I was hoping for a more detailed walkthrough. You stated that the app doesn’t give you voice warning of speed cameras but when the voice instructions are working, it gives a warning of the speed camera and the speed limit. I say when the voice instructions are working because recently when using the app for directions, the voice instructions stop after approximately two minutes. I think you should have played examples of the voice options and also tips for trouble shooting. It seems to be a common problem with many users so covering the voice instruction issue would have been helpful
It doesn't warn about any speed cameras. I didn't play the recording because a song played in the background, so the RUclips system would have flagged the video. I'm also travelling now, so I can't use the app. But I'm confident that the app does warn about speed cameras (at least in Australia).
@@mks-mobile The voice warning for speed cameras definitely works in the UK. I managed to sort out the voice issue after reading somebody's suggestion on how to fix it. It is a very complicated method but fingers crossed.
My iPad is stuck in the Off-Line option. It says to go online (to do anything) but does not provide any button to do so. I was so glad to see you mention this Off-Line Option thing, but I am still stuck. How do I get it to NOT do that? Where is the button to get to the button?
Is there a way of arranging your favourites in order of distance just like you can on Google Maps so the one at the top of the list is closest to you and the bottom one is furthest away you know what I mean
This is a terrible video. You jump around to different features so fast I don’t know how you got there or how to find them. I have an iPhone 14 and it doesn’t seem to have the same Icons and features that your phone has.
I'm sorry. Some options are region dependent. Also there might be the software version difference. The interface might slightly be different. Also, I skipped the unnecessary parts.
Very helpful, thank you! I got an apple for the first time and was confused. Appreciate the video
Happy to help. Thank you for your feedback.
+Dziękuję bardzo , za ten filmik, jest dla mnie bardzo pomocny. Mam iphona dopiero dwa tygodnie i jeszcze dużo rzeczy nie wiem.

Yes, Apple Maps is weird in that regard. Try Google Maps if you can.
Didn’t answer my question, I just want to know how to bring up the to and from locations

You can edit by tapping on one of those fields. Reverse the two by tapping on that symbol once in edit mode.

I don't think so. I'm travelling right now, so Apple Maps is not available here.
Quick guide, thanks
Can I change the arrow icon ?
Which arrow icon?
The one that represent your car in the map while driving
how can i minimize the apple maps?
Swipe up from the bottom to minimize it.
Can we just start with the fact that my app does not have the same choices that you are showing!
Some are region dependent. Also I was using the iOS 16. If you have updated to iOS 17, you'll have a slightly different interface.
In our place it doesn’t works
I can’t see street view.
Street view is the region dependent. It might not be supported in your area.
Navigation doesn’t work for me, idk why.
What's wrong? Do you see an error or something?
