Actually it’s not destroyed. I was at the event and logged out there. When I logged back in yesterday it was still there and fully intact. Griefers don’t just destroy shit for no reason. Usually shit gets destroyed because it’s owned by a group they rival. Plus it’s just some blocks, if you actually played the server you would understand most of the community doesn’t give a shit about the “history”.
It's 2b2t, of course you plan to host a disaster. In fact, if you "properly" build a disaster of your own, the griefers might just blow themselves up trying to destroy your disaster zone. Which would be awesome.
2b2t griefers aren't just casual griefers, they're just as dedicated as the builders. I'm sure that if you tried to build a perfect artistic recreation of what a griefed build looks like in 2b2t, there would be a griefer group dedicated enough to create something beautiful there, just to properly destroy the original intention.
Fit admitted as much in an older video, even admitting that the Rusher War was intended to bring attention to 2b2t and bring veterans back to the server.

I love seeing the fleeting moment of the memorial Pre- and Post- Greif. Almost feels like I got to be there. I haven't been to 2b2t for a long time (didn't enjoy getting glitched/bumped/booted after waiting through a 4 hour que).
I wish that I were an active player of THE OLDEST ANARCHY SERVER IN MINECRAFT , but then again not everyone would pay for priority queue every month don't tell me bout mowing lawn where I live stuff is Lil different than of US
