- Hey guys, My name is Ricardo Román also Known as Mono in the FGC. I'm a competitive player in various Fighting Games and also one of the FGC's main tournament organizers in Puerto Rico.
This video focuses more on his changes in Ultra Street Fighter 4 and how they can be applied in his game plan right now. Very interesting stuff actually.

Just picked up Bison 3 days ago and I have not enjoyed any other character as much. I came to SF4 really late only a couple months ago so all of this is new to me. The tech in this video is awesome thanks.

Beautiful. I always wondered in terms of story, if Bison is one of the main villains, how come he isn't top tier (idk the ranks) or how come I don't see him more often in tournaments and such. I'd expect the bad guy to be powerful not only in comics or movies but in the games as well. Great video.

Oh yeah, I'm playing around with this stuff now and the EX PC into U1 works on Rose too. :-)
Was Talking with Tampa Bison Earlier. he mentioned it also works on Dee Jay, viper, Balrog. The Low SK into Low Psycho into U1 Setup
For the EX PC I got it to work on Rose, DeeJay, Balrog, Vega, C.Viper, and Abel.
I got it to work on Yun, Yang, and Zangief but only one time though. Seems like some are harder to land than others. The timing is super weird for EX PC to U1. Hard to get down.
I'll Have to try that Low SK into Low Psycho into U1 also. Good finds.

sorry to say but alot if not all of this juggles into ultra no longer work, i tryed them and i did get it to work but it didnt connect, but than again why would they make bison soooo powerfull right ?

Could you explain how to do Ultra 1 after a Focus attack ? I used to be able to do it but I forgot hwo to.
you can either do the dash early in the focus attack then buffer the charge for a bit while they are falling or you can let the focus attack finish while you're still charging then dash ultra which is FF B F 3K
EX PsCr also works against Guile's sonic boom :P

This video, while it looks real cool, is full of impractical stuff. Most of the links in this vid are all 1 frame and very hard to pull off. You just can't use this stuff in BnB context. If this was really great stuff, you would see all the top Bison's using them in tournaments and even casuals. You wouldn't even know this stuff was here if it wasn't for this video. Lame Capcom, very lame.
1 frame links aren't impractical at all what are you talking about, besides a lot of the stuff shown in this video were CH setups which are easy to follow up if you can react in time
I have found that the problem, even more than the 1 frame link issue, which I do think is a problem, is the fact that much of the setups just aren't consistent. They are not BnB. They depend on very specific situations, spacing, MU, etc. It's not like Bison can scissor kick you and go into a combo (without two bars) like Cammy or the endless dive kick cast for instance, or go into an ultra. His damage output is low because he can't just force himself on you if he get's a jab for instance. In the rudely MU, Bison needs to be lame unless rudely walks himself into the corner, and even there he needs to be careful, because Dudely can out damage him any day of the week.

USF4 gave him comeback potential with red focus cancel and a new bnb which works on everyone since st mp is special cancelable+they buffed the damage on his SK so he did get a pretty substantial damage buff
Putridprudential idk bro. Let's look at the facts. SK got buffed by 10 and s.mp does 5 more damage compared to c.mk. That's a whopping total of 15 more damage on bnb combos. That's really not a big difference. Red focus requires 3 bars and can't be done from a short scissors, and the scaling on red focus combos is terrible. His comeback potential therefore isn't that good because it is costly and it is doesn't give you a big reward. What combos he does have that are new are hard as hell to pull off, but more importantly, depend on very specific setups, hence why they aren't versatile or reliable. Bison's buffs come from his AA options now. Basically Bison is better because s.mp is a good poke and he can't be jumped at for free anymore. That's really it. Everything else is either nice but hard to pull off and inconsistent, or it is not much of a difference from what was already there. Overall USF4 Bison is of course a big improvement, but he still has to play lame cause his risk and reward still sucks.
