I see the 6 first and have no idea if it’s the start of a math problem or maybe even the number of alpacas outside of the Johnny Depp suit’s courthouse, or maybe even how old my niece is, possibly how many rum buckets I had last night? Who knows. 6 Jan ….Jan is also a common name for females so are there 6 Jan’s or is there maybe a Jan who is 6? So much confusion when it’s just a random 6 to start something off. But when you start broad like Jan. 6, then you know first and foremost it’s regarding a month and is probably going to include a specific day during that month, and is most likely the date of something or some event.
Also, it’s really a stupid thing to troll someone’s comment with.

Best place to view the hearings. No commentary, just video of what takes place. Leaves us the opportunity to focus just on what they show and make up our own minds about what is said.

I love the ones who parrot Lord Cheeto and say it was a peaceful protest. So the videos of crushing cops in the door, pushing cops w bike racks, breaking windows, yelling for Pelosi and Pence, brandishing flags as spears, chanting "hang Mike Pence" was peaceful. Being a veteran of many peaceful protests can't identify that this is what they looked like.
And it was sooooooo organized.....refreshing to see a government moment that ORGANIZED....on one accord....no arguments....no cursing....just simply refreshing

Mike Pence never publicly stood up for the truth, even when Trump wanted the mob to shout, "Hang Mike Pence." He stood by his orange man. Mike Pence may have ended up doing the right thing, but he is no one's hero and never will be, and certainly not Democracy's.
Pence chose to run as Trump's VP, knowing exactly the kind of person that Trump was. I'm not sure that's dignity. Of course, this is the kind of position Trump would put Pence in.

It’s one thing to catch the bits & pieces that was reported in the news, it’s totally eye opening on the spectrum of the full story brought on by the committee. Patriotism is defined not by how much you say you love America or carry a trump/confederate flag and attempt a coup but by one respecting and following the rule of law, being the peace makers of USA not destroying or wanting to have a civil war that can potentially destroy the land and our democracy! They also have purposefully ignored the written requests -- BY Trump - to have Nat'l guard secure the Capital due to the intel briefs; BUT Pelosi and the DC Mayor flatly refused... Here is the text in the 12th amendment...
"The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted;"
There is text before telling how to do the members of the electoral college, and there is text after telling how the count will resolve for presidential vote and vice pres vote...
But that one bit is all that it says for what the VP does regarding the counting.
Mike Pence spoke up as someone with moral character regarding the duties as a vice president.There were those that tried pressure him to do something that was illogical, wrong and without any reasonable grounds of support. Using the groundwork that our founding fathers used, Pence followed those convictions and his OATH that he took as vice president of the United States!

If he could have complied with Trump's request legally, he would have.
It's true he upheld his oath to the constitution, but I'm sure many complaints could be levied about various legislation that would have detrimented the American public that pence either would have supported or remained silent on.
We can speculate until the Sun dies on if his actions were motivated more by a sense of duty to his oath, or because of a straining relationship with Trump, or something else...but the context to that could color our understanding of Pence as a person.

They seem to be making a point to say Trump knew that what he was telling pence to do was illegal, because he had two legal opinions going back and forth from lawyers. But for some reason, I seem to remember courts ruling maricopa county to provide the auditors various things like modems and passwods... And i remember these neing challenged and then reiteeated by higher courts and in the end the auditirs never got he materials that were illegally witheld from the legialature. I remember other actions like injunxrions on keeping Pennsylvania and Georgia observers too far away to be able to see the ballots get ignored multiple times. I also remember court rulings saying that changing the rules if the election withiut legislative approval was illegal, and that giuliani produced witnesses testifying under the penalty of perjury that election officials had whole rooms of workers changing dates on mailed in ballots and that they were told to stop verifying signatures and were asked to input ballots with dates past november3 in michigan?, and he lost his license to practice law in DC, for pushing such blatant lies as to be against the Bat Associations ethical standards and that same Bar Association reinstated the lawyer who was convicted of fabricating false evidence in order to get a fisa warrant on a trump campaign volunteer and 3 subsequent renewals which also included lies about trump from fabricated intelligence reporting that was made up by his political opponent who was also a lawyer... Guliani was not convicter of anything, in fact his cases were mostly not heard for procedural reasons. Yet kevin Clinesmith can practice law with only a 1000 dollar fine and some public service?

Because he wasn't charged with a crime. I don't think you can pardon someone that hasn't been charged with or convicted of a crime. Disclaimer, not a lawyer😅

I mean, I don’t know, but if I put myself in trumps head I’d guess he needs a fall guy and Eastman is the easiest target. I don’t think he could pardon Eastman for a crime he hasn’t been charged or found guilty of, but I doubt he’d have done it if he could. Trump needs someone else to blame. Eastman came up with and created the whole plan to try and illegally steal the election and then was point person in trying to sell the idea to others that they needed to participate to execute it. But also, after the insurrection, trump did nothing but obsess over remaining president and didn’t do much else. So he was also probably mad at Eastman because his plan failed.
Trump preemptively gave pardons out like candy (no charges for anyone) according to Jared Kushner that was preparing them. So far, the only logical thing I can think of is that Trump wanted at least a fall guy in Eastman so he didn’t get one of those readily available pardons.

It is clear to me. Donald trump overstepped a line. That line was one that cannot be ignored. He called his supporters to action, and when that action caused armed people at the capitol to commit deadly acts of violence, and afterwards refuse to cooperate in the investigations into what happened as a result of his incitement to a violent coup or insurrection against our democracy is a disgrace. It is the kind of standard that needs to be held for all politicians.
Of course, his threatening incitement consisted of saying If mike Pence doesn't do what we want I won't like him anymore. His call to march over to the whitehouse to let our voices be heard peacefully so we can support the weak republicans to do the right rhing, and if thethat ever so threatening privay don't do whatt we want that we will be dissappointed. Also tte threatening conversation where he called Pence a Wimp. This behavior is unsettling. Oh there is also that tweet that he posted 1 minute after they breached the capitol where there werd zero guards. It said something pretty terrible, right?
You see the people who were armed were the police. The deadly part refers to the two people who died that day, two unarmed Trump supporters, both women. One was shot at point blank range, and the other was trampled. It should be noted that it seems that a policeman shooting an unarmed woman, and killing her, should be investigated, and that letting poluce brutality continue, will not be tolerated. For some reason, people who were unarmed and peacefully protesting were targeted by a massive manhunt with harsh treatment of those who pushed their way into the capitol and caused the politicians to retreet to a bunker fir safety only to emerge anfter police shot tear gas and manhandled peaceful protrestors with deadly force. Just so they could have a pr moment bavk in the chamber. Is that what yiu want to support? When these protestors got inside the building, they were dressed in crazy costumes and they put their feet up on the table and even wrote something on a piece of paper on the dais, but stopped when the guard said to be respectful.
And since this is the standard.... Of the democratic held senate, supported by the executive branch and the house...i call to impeach Biden, Harris, Pelosi, and remove Shumer Waters, and open an investigation into anyone who called for protests in 2020, that resulted in federal property being gamaged or violent actions being taken by anyone, and removing the privelleges to run for office for anyone who verbally supported those protestors in any way. The kenosha, insurrection, the Portland Siege, the whitehouse insurrection, the minniapolis peaceful protests, the kavanaugh hearings the current insurrection at the supreme court, the assasination plot, and even the Steven Colber breach of the capitol all need to be brought before thd public in heatings, and anyone who doesnt cooperate should be held in contempt
Yes, biden should be impeached for threatening to withold already approved aid to Ukraine in order to obtain a quid pro quo of political favors by having the head of state fire the prosecutor investigating what could be politically damaging to future campaigns
I trust that anyone lying to government agencies or judges to get a fisa warrat or creating. Lies that incite anger in the american people or any politician funding the bail payments to violent extremests will be likwise held accountable.
