In the beginning a man with a huge ego, a horrible selfish person, but going on, luckily he understood, even if he had to be hit hard. Sometimes we need a strong signal to understand that we are on the wrong path, but many times it is not enough, and we have to lose everything, and understand the lesson in another life and another, and again more and more, until finally all is clear. Our body is just a container, a box, our soul is immortal. A very beautiful film that shows what are the true values of life, love, friendship, generosity, helping others and above all... God. Good cast, story, direction. Thanks for uploading, an important lesson for everyone.
For people who may not know.. never ever pick up someone who just fell, hit by a car ect... you could literally kill them or permanently paralyze them, if they have a broken spine or neck ect

My first thought was this would be a far fetched hard to swallow film plot. Turned out to be an interesting family film with an impressive lesson. Not focused on the impossible plant that grows hundred dollar legal tender but what the excess of easy wealth can do to a person's values and perspectives. Great message. Great film.

Couldn't understand why he didn't share with his wife and kids, in the end it worked out perfectly,great actors,and my dad used to say to me constantly "money doesn't grow on trees"..in this movie it DID!

father is a horrible actor. just ain't feeling this. GREED
In the first few minutes we see a man who is focused on himself, can't be trusted to fix things around his own home but says he'll get to it, He doesn't want his kids giving to a food drive because he's saving for a vacation or his wife hiring a plumber because plumbers get a lot of money. ... then he finds an abundance of money that belongs to his wife and secretly steals it and spends it on himself . Money just made him more of what he already was . . . I didn't finish watching . . .

Apart from the money tree, I wouldn't believe in moving to a cold and snowy place somewhere in the mountains. Your life shortens by half because half of every year you are mostly preoccupied with survival: wearing tons of clothes, breathing thick air, keeping to not so big appartment with heating, removing hills of snow from parking lot and/or the road.

A great movie with a huge gap in the plot near the end... His friend just lied for him to get him out. Well, it must have been a difficult task to solve otherwise the plot. I think the real solution to this dilemma would have been: either her wife or the pastor would have placed the money in that tree -in order to hope the man to change. Well, complicated still. But then, they would have been able to tell the truth to the cop. But now, a lie helped them all from prison. And by the way: HOW the detective even bought it! The money wasn't there before, the factory wasn't sold until later. Gaps, gaps, gaps. . I loved the movie, but the gap and the lie left me kind of confused. The acting was great!

Scripture says if you don't work, you don't eat. In order to eat they have to make money. Imagine getting up everyday and going to work and knowing if you don't sell something, you won't get paid for the work you did.
