Finally a Hallmark movie without a snotty leading lady who gets a nice guy. Instead it’s a sweet story about kind people who meet each other. Do more of these.

@@candi1904 It's too true that many of the movies now are about young women who act rude, which, hey, I understand they have it worse than young women ever had in putting up with BS from disrespectful young men, but it's not the answer to winning over a good guy.
typical hallmark, caucasian lead, with a poc sidekick, secondary role...
I don't see her as snotty, just in my opinion, not a real good actress.
I love this movie. They were a little slow, but that was the normal personalty of the chracters. They were both kinda late bloomers, who thru an innocent job, found their true soul mate. Love it.
Ive watched this a few times, yes the cameras aren't that great, but it's charming, love the acting/actors and it has a more of real feel than most. A good feeling movie!
I enjoyed how they brought everyone together. Those who are familiar and new friends. They kept their work professional until all had left and they were alone. Good story.
No bad language, bad scenes, or God’s name in vain. Thank you!

I agree. This was an excellent movie without the 'misunderstanding' and no drama. It totally caught my interest from the beginning to the ending. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Why don't such sweet & thoughtful guys exist in real world
guys they want to charge 1000.00 for putting in a lightbulb but think all women should want to do Everything for free for them, as long as it's cooking and cleaning ... and giving them time to go play.
They are out there. You just need to know where to look. And after all I been thru since birth.... I got the sweetest and most absolute thoughtful man in my life... the very first true love and boyfriend that I knew since I was born.

I’ve watched this movie several times. I absolutely love it. I love the two main characters, the actors make me feel like they are people that I could know in real life.

I have watched this film before and am actually amazed at the comments about the film. The acting leaves a little to be desired BUT the worst part is the setting is not what they say it is! It is meant to be somewhere not in the suburbs - and an old house. They talk about the rooms without showing them - makes no sense except for the fact that they actually haven't spent the money to find and rent a place of the size and history of the house in the actual story. I guess that is what film makers do who haven't got the money to make a film according to the story. I am not saying the story is bad at all.
I agree. I love a Hallmark movie, but the "Oh, I love her" came out of nowhere and where are the decorations that are suppposed to be so amazing? I am super sappy, but this one just didn't do it for me.
I agree! And many times I felt the dialogue was written by 14 yros in drama club.

Ok so now I've GOTTA watch it! Like my ear for listening to music 🎶, I enjoy a lot of different genres: R&B, Country, Pop, Blues, Jazz, soft Rock etc; with movies, I can tell within the first 5 mins after the opening credits stop if it's gonna be enough to hold my attention thru to the closing credits. Not all movies are meant to be deep Oscar-worthy cinematic fluff (I mean, we ARE talking Hallmark here, ok?) L🤣L

One thing I hated was when they would say how beautiful every thing was and they didn't show it the rooms the lights on the roof but a really nice movie

Oh, here's $12 000 to decorate and plan a Christmas dinnner for 10 adults and some kids... Oh, and definitely make the broccoli 🥦 it's such a delicacy...
Since this film's objective was to decorate the house inside-outside, then go all the way - make it worth it! Just to see how 'cheap' this production was, they decorated with a couple of dozen poinsettias, some ridiculous bows here and there, some twigs by the fireplace and tinsel which wasn't even symmetric, over the door!!! And when it was time for the 'big' surprise - to switch on the outdoor lights, there was a 'reflection' of blue lighting for a split second!!!! Seriously guys? What a cheap production!!! Then there was Mary who froze on the balcony and was revived like Sleeping Beauty... The screenplay writer could have put in some suspense - have Chris call in a doctor or rush her to the ER - something that would have got the viewers' hearts pumping!
The heart-warming concept of reuniting families and friends was the only positive thing in this film.
I thought i was the only person who notice it.. i have seen better movies..

I force myself to watch 20 minutes, then I can't handle it was anymore. If there is award for poor low budget production and high school acting this movie definitely should be nominated.

Not a Hallmark movie, despite the name in the thumbnail. One sign: opening credits were shown, but never are in bootleg ,"Hallmarks".
