Proper incar footake like back in the day, love it! That's something missing from the official WRC broadcasts, they only use those A-pillar cameras showing the drivers and then mostly just drone/helicopter footage.

Always hated the wrc onboard on the front window side. You really can’t get the movements of the car from that perspective. I really don’t know why they keep them like this 😢

@@giacomorevelant5664 Yea, never understood this either. And I hate any fisheye lens helmet cam footage, you can't get any sense of it, and the feel of speed is unrealistic. Been wondering the reasons for lack of proper oldschool incar footage, and it may be about that there's simply not enough room for such camera as drivers need to throw their helmets to the back from between the seats, and the seats themselves have those big head side supports in them.

@@d-d-i I think you’re right but I can also see that mini cameras were installed inside drivers helmets in F1 this year so if they wanted to, they can fit some sort of small camera that doesn’t disturb drivers in that area, or maybe the promoter just don’t care 🤷🏻‍♂️
Let’s see if they upgrade something this year

@@giacomorevelant5664 One thing they could at least upgrade is the broadcast signal equipments. During Rally Japan, it was horrible to watch buffer pixelation when the connection cut all the time in the forests. You'd think that they would install some kind of signal relays for these systems to handle the connection for global broadcasting.
