    I worked first 5yr in Indian Health service and next 35 in UK. In last 40yr Indian healthcare has improved and UKs has gone backward, it is now the sickest in Europe. Lot of locals are dependent on "food banks" which means basically begging for handouts of free food and this includes some healthcare staff on low wages who cannot make ends meet. Sunak will lose the election.

      Where exactly are you living in UK. There are definitely some people who live on Food bank support but they are less than 5%. In India it is around 80%, who cannot feed themselves without Govt's Rationing. You are also right about improvement in India's health care system but thats mainly due to indiscriminate use of Anti-biotics.

    Brexit was all about "taking back control". Britain doesn't want leaders but entertainers and comedians to be in charge of the country and preferably a graduate from Oxford or Cambridge University. (RaGa also has the same Oxford complex and thinks he should be PM of India). Boris Johnson had Churchillian fantasies of saving the UK from EU and told lies of epic proportions including during Covid from which 100s of 1000s died needlessly.

    I wasn't supportive of brexit when it was in the works, because i was delusional, I thought people are fair and they play nice. But I now feel it was required, EU will pay it's price for open borders, and ideology based governance, in the long run.

    Brexit was never about economy, I vote remain. Brexit was about immigration! Brits are fed up of people from Europe and other countries coming to the uk to exploit the welfare system. Things will be tough for a while, but considering the current globlal situation, tightening borders is very important.

      @@vin00ify That's not true, you probably live in a tight-knit Indian community in some outskirts and have no idea what's going on. Plenty successful Indians in UK, who are part of the society and pay their due taxes.
      Brexit was about freeloaders, mostly from Eastern Europe and nowadays even from India and Pakistan. They come disguised as student, asylum seekers etc, but have motive to stay forever. They take more from the system than contribute back, at times nothing. They have no intent to embrace the culture of UK, they instead plan to spread their own.

    • @spottyty
      @spottyty 12 дней назад +3

      The majority of eastern Europeans actually worked very hard and it's why after Brexit there's now work shortages because Brits aren't willing to do the jobs and there's way more native people claiming benefits than immigrants 😂 the UK just always needs to blame someone else for their own problems and the EU was the first victim of it.

    Implementing Brexit has not gone well. Imagine India getting independence in 1947, and the government, opposition and bureaucracy of that time did everything they could to prevent that independence and instead pine for being part of the empire. That's has been the biggest challenge for the UK.
    The governments since the Brexit referendum have been totally incompetent in moving the UK away from the EU. It does not help that there's a very vocal minority that wants reunification with the EU.
