Good thing, too. This is one of the few Yakuza games where QTEs are lethal if you fail them. In the previous games, if you took QTE damage that would kill you, it would instead leave you at 1 HP, barring any instant kill QTEs.

Man that first one really shows why Akiyama need Kiryu's help, Ed dodged that kick like a pro.
To be fair, Akiyama's hanging on the pipes gives away his attack.
