Regarding the ending... the movie is getting a sequel. In fact, the trailer went up about 2 weeks ago.
And now the second full trailer went up about 6 hours ago.
I took my girlfriend to see this movie on opening night. You could have heard a pin drop; we were all sucked into the movie and couldn't breathe even if the movie title hadn't told us not to! When the turkey baster arrived on-screen, horrific realization set in and I could feel the tangible frozen terror in everyone around us.
Everyone except for my date sitting on my right. She burst out laughing. Two years later I married that woman.
Fear for my life, gentlemen! Keep up the good reactions in the meantime!
Same! I took my mom and sister to see the movie in theaters, and it was the same. The film absolutely lives up to its title because it felt like none of us were breathing.

He was punching out as he just wanted to be left alone and he was angry he had to kill someone to protect his home, money and secret. He wasn't bothered about the girl dying but his baby she was carrying. Damn good movie with some great acting
When he goes to the safe with the money my immediate thought on my first watch was “🥺😳 if that’s the money… what does he have in the basement…?”

Yes!! Love this movie. I have no idea why it's so underrated 😂 The concept is awesome, they way they work the camera to make the feeling of tension.... And how they use sounds..and great performance by the actors. Awesome movie!

Loved this movie and reaction! It makes sense for nothing to be stolen if both thieves died in the house. That's how I interpreted it. The old man played a badass in the movie Avatar. I think he did a good job in this role as well.
You guys should definitely do Panic Room if you havent before. This film definitely feels inspired by it.
TOO inspired. The shots, the colour, the look of the characters, the placement of the credits ... It was so close to a rip-off, albeit a very good film in its' own right. It didn't have to copy Panic Room so closely. It prevented the film from being its' own thing.
I remember watching this when it first came out and I went in expecting it to be one of those really cheesy thriller movies that you just laugh at. But it was surprisingly good.
I saw when it first came out in the cinema the sound had me on the edge of my seat really liked it it was good glad you guys reacted 💯❤
Underrated thriller
I feel like a sequel to this movie might be kind of cheesy and taking it too far. I think the movie in itself is brilliant, a sequel might be unnecessary.
Yeah, the sequel seems a little weird. It's like they're trying to turn a kidnapper and murderer who sexually assaulted two women into an action hero
True, the sequel makes him seem so innocent and like some kind of hero. The sequel is unnecessary and I feel like it won’t be as good as the first for a movie with a higher budget than the first.

I was rooting for the blind guy all the way.
I saw this in the theater. I was on the edge of my seat! =) They DID originally shoot the ending where the camera moves down watching the girls leave at the station then a man with a cane starts coming toward them, but felt that didn't make sense at all since he was supposed to be at the hospital and he doesn't even know who she is.
Love this movie. Cautiously otimistic for the sequel, since new director and premise of the blind guy being somewhat of a hero is strange.
Guys you should watch REC it's a Spanish horror movie it's one of the best zombie movie ever I think there's a USA version but you should watch the original it's perfect

One of the most intense movies really
This film is really tense, but I cannot get past the fundamental notion of a blind man somehow going out and not only finding the person who hit his daughter, but somehow dragging her all the way back to his home unnoticed. I mean, it's not like he could have driven her. It would've made much more sense if he'd had an accomplice in that role. Seriously, how's he meant to have done that?
Your movie choices are excellent. This is one of my favourite movies from the 2010 to 2019 period.
I think Dredd is something you'll enjoy reacting to. It's a great action flick.

This movie took major references from Panic Room, but they are WAY too similar for comfort. Watch Panic Room and you'll see what I mean from the shots to the characters' appearances.

i'm not necessarily looking forward to the sequel and probably won't watch it unless i read reviews before. I'm not thrilled about them making a literal sexual abuser who kidnaps women into a seemingly 'good' guy who protects a little girl. I think it's weird af if they're going that route idk lmaooo

The whole issue of him trapping the woman in his basement to inseminate her was too much
I very much suspect that was thrown in very late in production, when they realized the audience would 100% be rooting for the blind man without something like it.

This would have to be the was intense & pulse racing film I have seen since the descent. As a viewer I found myself remaining dead silent almost as if I was in the house. One thing though that no one has considered. Until we discovered the veteran's secret in the basement he hadn't actually committed a crime. He was defending his home & in America it is lawful to defend your home & take a person's life if one breaks in to their home & before anyone decides to comment me on this & criticize me for taking the mans side what I have stated is factual. Great reaction guys

The old man in this, played by Stephen Lang, was phenomenal this was the 2nd movie I've seen him in. The first time I saw him was in a Chiller Channel movie: Monkey's Paw, he is a fantastic actor. They all were great in this, Jane Levy who I always love

He was grieving over the dead girl that he kept strapped up because she was going to give him a baby a replacement for his daughter he wasent grieving her but what she was carrying when he lost his daughter he fell apart plus the trauma from his military days he was a EX NAVY SEAL.

There is alot of smaller problems in this movie, like The old man and Alex being unkillable, the old mans gun teleporting to his hands before he shot Alex, the gun was in The laundry room and the old man dident find the gun before and thats why he tried to stab Alex instead with the huge scissors, the dog NOT biting ANY OTHER PART of the girl when in The car, its only going for the face, and stuff like that.
But this movie is pretty good! I love when he shut the power off in The basement and hunts them down, and you see him reach his hand up to touch the woodenbeam and the fan and knew knows EXACTLY where he is, thats fucking horrifying😂
Alex was the only smart one the entire movie he didn’t deserve to die the other two did!

You can also check out the Triangle, 2009. A strange, very confusing movie, but interesting at the same time. Good thriller

"nothing was reported stolen" ensures there will be no further investigation. Besides, the two guys who entered the house ended up dead. Bodies found, nothing stolen, case closed. He walked away with his crime.
