Great video, looks like a sick race! Race day is gonna make for an awesome video too. Good luck! 🤘

Thanks bud! Should be a fun race/video! Hope the rain holds out for video sake and I hope my body doesn’t crap out on me on the last climb haha! 6000ft of climbing in 27 miles by the time it’s all said and done 🫠

6000! I didn’t realize you guys had that much elevation. The downhill part sounds fun though 😂.

Not like a 6000ft mountain but 6000ft of elevation gain over the course of that mileage. But yeah we definitely got some of the bigger descents/climbs on the east coast. Such a great MTB destination!

I've only ridden it once and pedaled it from the bottom the to the top. I never cramp and of course I cramped once I got to the top, then the whole way down.

It’s a slog of a climb for sure! I felt it the other day! I still gotta go up and do kitsuma after that on race day and I’m dreading that second climb haha!

@@WanderingWheeliesMTB What's 500ft ascent in a half mile after that epic DH anyway? 😂 Keep up the work and you'll get there! And besides, just finishing that race is a feat so go get some!

How long does the climb take?

Good question! I’ve done it as quickly as one hour however I’ve seen videos of people riding this trail it taking a few hours to climb. I’d say at a moderate pace it could be done in sub 2 hours

Both are amazing options! The Heartbreak climb is definitely more a grunt but totally worth it.

@@jinavl haha, I hear you! I’ve been here 12 years and it has been hard to find a reason to leave. Only thing that would get me to go is if I build out a van and hit the road and live out of it for awhile.
