Transparent Vinegar can also do this job. Tried and tested

I was about to same thing. I used white synthetic vinegar with water and applied using bottle spray on alloy rims nuts and monogram. All dust was gone in few seconds. Secondly using even zero sand paper on plastic monogram will cause scratches and will also remove the chrome.

Tonyin products are of low quality, specially there degreasers etc, they are every hard on car paint not safe.
