- This is probably the thousandth version of Popcorn, but it's somehow also a must for analog synth freaks like me.
It's played live and runs partly via Midi to CV/Gate and partly via analogue sequencer. I described the devices i used in the video. Have fun :)
I've loved this tune since I was a kid (I'm middle aged now.) Thanks for recreating it. And btw...the modular synths you have....AWESOME!

The only thing that I would criticise, and I'm being a nitpick here, is that the main melody doesn't have the same "pop" in the attack, which I think is where the name comes from and lends to the theme! But of course you made all sorts of stylistic choices here that are all fantastic, and I'm just disagreeing with one. It sounds like yours does some sort of wave folding or oscillator modulation on the attack, and that's really nice in and of itself.
Overall fantastic, in a sea of hot butter covers, this is one of the best.
Name comes from pop -Pop Music and corn - kitsch. Gershon Kingsley himself said that in an interview.
