I think many people here are unable to actually take perspective. XXXTentacion clearly stated that the reason why he beat his inmate up, isn't because he was gay, but because he kept staring at him while he was CHANGING HIS CLOTHES NAKED after multiple warnings. X also says that he had the suspicion that the dude didn't respect (X says that might be because he was a smaller person therefore the lack of respect) him and in prison often when people lack self-defense , it gives the aggressor the sign of "oh i can do whatever i want, i guess". Also you got to factor in that rape in prison isn't uncasual and often smaller people or people that don't receive much respect from inmates( in this behaviour the inmate keeps looking at him and gives suspicious signals) , get raped . That is the part of prison mentality many people in this comment section don't understand at all. Finally , X warned the guards that if his inmate does anything suspicious , he will severely hurt or kill his inmate and also told his inmate the same. X informing the guard of the suspicoius behaviour instead of beating him(the inmate) up is arguable , but if your inmate has already set out the for you to not stare at him while he is changing clothes and you keep looking at him after multiple warnings , then im sorry but you deserve to get beat up. You are in a Cell with a stranger who did something fucked up (otherwise he would'nt be in prison) and you still disrespect him.
