Sure don't take long for the new to where off all ready dragging that buetyfull truck through the mud !!!! Time for her to earn her keep ,what ever it takes buddy just keep rolling!!
Our mills in the southeast will not accommodate the short wood. It wiped out a hole economy for short wood haulers. Also, timber farms were managed more efficiently using short wood haulers
Yes sir you guys are in the middle of the mud! Lol I’m sure it’s very frustrating and now with main machines down makes it worse. Hope things get fixed fast. You be safe Mr I can climb wood piles. Good muddy video for sure be safe and as you say keep on rolling!
Not fun I hate having to push and pull trucks around but gotta do what you gotta do to pay the bills. Man those new skidders are quiet. I like the sound of the old ones but I’m sure the quiet ones are nice to operate
John, old buddy, old pal, you were LOONEY way before that feed wheel died BUT you can blame it ALL on those goomerish younguns. I've seen lots of folks, including my folks pull it off. Pitiful, ain't it! Prayers, BLESSINGS and LOTS of goomerish younguns to hug on. And I used to wear those Wellies myself till I started wading mud in my sock feet. Not very good.
There's a guy that dose chips here in Georgia that takes and grinds chips and covers the bad spots and the road in deep enough so the trucks roll right over them plus he doesn't get in trouble with the law about dirt and mud on the road he rolls in the rain he dose not do logs just chips another crew hauls the logs
Why don't logging Companies have small chippers to chip the limbs up and use for traction in mud like that? I hauled for a chip company out of AR and they would dump chips on the mud so the trucks could get in and out when it was bad like that.
you know if you fell of that log pile , and didn't break bones or something serious , but hurt yourself , the boss would ride you for years , and just keep cracking the whip and laughing about it ;) it for sure sucks to be kinfolk sometimes ... all the time LOL
Is there a point where you tear up more equipment playing in the mud than the wood is worth? seems to me bending up bumpers and twisting frames and who knows what just for a truck load of logs.
Even though I have never put a wrench on a chipper...How many more hours of videos before you will send me my Certified Service Tech certificate? I almost feel confident enough to completely overhaul one!😃 At this point...All you can hope for is that the ground freezes solid soon!
Surely a bit of ground work and some timber matts has to be more cost effective than all the time and fuel you guys spend dragging trucks and equipment out of mud and repairing damaged gear.
I would take the dozer and cut about a foot of mud off and lay number 8s in the loading hole if i could or fine me some sand and rock to pack it up for the trucks to run but its hard to do in the kind of mess
I do not understand why so much axle in the truck ... look at it has 6 axes ... one in the middle ... another one beyond, another in the tail of the truck ... for that much axis ... unnecessary tire expense ..when the truck maneuvers a turn as it will be ... ?? ... it gets complicated ... before the trucks with three axles were enough and they gave the same work ... they just took out the wood ... the same nonsense .. .. someone who explains what is practical ... a person who pulls it as an expert in the field
... Okay big guy, how come every time I see your videos logging, you're always logging out in some muddy back woods and. you are always getting stuck in the mud?!?!
Maybe get some professional chipper guys and machinery in? None of this yahoo type business. Ask the client if you can quit? You could bring out a vid, I'm a quitter because it seems you can't be mechanic, accountant, business man, 'chipper', and youtuber all at the same time! Go figure.
C'est du grand n'importe quoi ! l'engin qui est devant arrête de tirer en même temps que le camion avance, soit il est con, soit c'est une vidéo faite pour faire étalage de la bêtise humaine

Hang in there man, everyday can't be a Monday,be safe and take care of those beautiful children you have
Not going to say could have should have would have glad to see you got him out I hope the rain stops or the ground freezes soon great vid

Lil greasy today on the landing , we are supposed to get snow in 2 days not ready for that yet, truck looks great love the colors

looks like you got the rain we got I can't get in to the woods for 2-3 days if it don't rain anymore ha ha
Funny, the mud squishing through just the middle wheel. The skidder rather than the dozer?
Rough day there! The mud just makes everything worse! Best of luck brother hopefully you’re up and running soon. Thanks for sharing
Well that's one way to break that new truck in I hate this time of year in the woods but as u say John " just keep Rolling"
bring's back 45 yrs of all those great memories, keep on muddin
If you get a couple big bundles of stall and put on the road coming into your location it will help for traction for the trucks to get in and out
What type of wood are you processing?
Chains over logs look tight 😁
Would it not be possible to stack the logs closer to the road so the log truck can stand on the road and load?
just curious if a track loader with processor head on it would work for your operation disregarding the much higher cost of the machine ofcourse
Fricking rain we are getting. I have no cab to jump in to stay dry. My jd 440 is a open cab and still hand cutting everything
chipper broke , slasher broke , I'm broke LMAO , that would have been a good title LOL
Hola soy de la provincia de Córdoba quiero saber para q se usa toda esa leña
I'm only assuming this is the same day you were waiting for the cylinder to come back from the workshop correct, you have had a lot of rain lately.
HUA
How much does one load like that pays?
We are working down in St John's Michigan it looks the same way
That’s awful to have to do that to a truck ,I hate towing them through the mud .We are going through the same thing in Maine.
Not fun I hate having to push and pull trucks around but gotta do what you gotta do to pay the bills. Man those new skidders are quiet. I like the sound of the old ones but I’m sure the quiet ones are nice to operate
Those are tough conditions, just do the best you can! I'm helping all I can...lol! ....13

I'm sorry, what are you blaming on the youth now?
@@chechnya Just being young and limber and not very forgetful, yet.
Which tires on the skidder works best where you are at?
Messy messy messy that goes with it.
I had to help change the knives in a big chipper at the sawmill I worked at every eve.
I don’t understand why you don’t chip up that junk wood and spray it with the trucks back up and tighten up some of that mud
Do you still have that wood burning boiler outside?
I do!
Forget what I said. *YOU GUYS ROCK. Y'all in IDAHO?*
Was that a *PETE pulling out that 2 skidder load?*
Couldn't really hear you with the wind and the equipment running but hope it gets better Buddy!
I'll take -20 cold over that anyday of the week... so long as the skidder will start and i can find my way off the couch.
WHY *YA GOTTA TAKE A PEE?*
I wonder if putting chips on that mud would help or if it would just make a bigger mess and waste chips

That's a load of wood. I can't make any maple syrup if you keep cutting those hard maples.
Surely a bit of ground work and some timber matts has to be more cost effective than all the time and fuel you guys spend dragging trucks and equipment out of mud and repairing damaged gear.
So what. Just seen the *2ND KILLER AD of the day. VERMEER WOOD CHIPPER.* F'N A
One day I would love to come down and meet you. You are only 50 maybe 60 miles from me
mud ,mud , aint good for nuthn.
keep on trucking dude
I would take the dozer and cut about a foot of mud off and lay number 8s in the loading hole if i could or fine me some sand and rock to pack it up for the trucks to run but its hard to do in the kind of mess
Don’t know how you or the equipment can function in mud like that. No thank you !!!
Man you guys need some matts bad
wow muddy and bad day when all Is broke
There goes a lot of pancake 🥞 juice lol
Couldn't you shoot some chips down that drive to stiffen it up??
log truck left with his chain loose over the logs, isnt that dangerous for people on the road plus the company getting sued into bankruptcy?
He chained down on the road
@@ThatChipperGuy was thinking that because of the mud after I commented.

I’m michigan we can haul 164,000 lbs. Every log truck in Michigan looks like this.
А зачем такую большую технику заганять в лес?
Купите нашего урала 4320 и не морочите задницу))
Pure stupidity anyway. Why would you bring a lorry through a slew of muck and shite. Wouldn’t do that here.
In every video these clows wreck stuff
