I'll go for Tubular Bells! It's the only proggy album that my older work colleagues really knew about back in their day! Always found that quite curious.
Very familiar with all of these apart from Wobbler. No clue at all but what a great record it is. Sounds like Opeth Heritage - Storm Corrosion 80%, Mr Bungle 10% and Shpongle 10%. Thanks for exposing this gem.
I don't know any of this very well. I don't really like Mastadon, Wobbler from what I have heard is okay. Muse is decent. I haven't wanted to dive into KGLW, too much. Tubular Bells, I tried once and didn't really get it. That shall get my vote to try again with you of course.
Interesting. Now, if the question is 'which is the best record?' then TB wins. If it's 'which would I like to hear?' then the answer is King Gizzard because I haven't heard it yet and it's bound to be OK at least. If it's 'what would I like Jim to listen to?' then Mastodon because it's right up your street. (I assume that you're reasonably familiar with TB. If not, then rectify this immediately!) If it's 'which great, relatively unknown record should Jim bring to the masses?' then it's Wobbler and finally, if it's 'which record would likely get the most views?' then it's Muse. Which question would you like me to answer, Jim?
Crack the sky! ❤❤❤
Tubular Bells, of course!
For me it's got to be ,tubular bells what a debut album to make.
Tubular Bells. Classic album by a genius musician.
Most of the albums sound interesting but I would vote for Tubular Bells too
Tubular Bells. Think you'll like it. Think you will definitely know that one section from it.
It MUST be Tubular Bells, Jim! It's too much of a classic
Simple choice for me: Tubular Bells is a masterpiece.
Several interesting albums. If Tubular Bells wasn't such a fantastic classic, King Gizzard would have gotten the vote.
I like that Wobbler album.
Probably "Tubular Bells". Not really my type of prog but it's such a classic that you've got to get it out of the way sometime 😂

Tubular bells BY Mike Oldfield as long as your head doesn't spin around and you projectile vomit !!
My choice is tubular bells Mike oldfield
Tubular Bells brings back an awful lot of memories, and yes Virgin owes it all to this one record. Muse would be second choice.

I’m double checking that you haven’t ever heard Tubular Bells in any format before casting my vote.
Wobbler!!!!!

Mike Portnoy has proclaimed Absolution as the best album of the 21st century…
