    Yep, that's a CFM56. Whaaaaaar. Love flying in the 737-800. You feel and hear everything. And they are the most reliable large capacity aircraft ever made.

    This is by far one of the best videos I've seen, I love the picture in picture effect showing take-off from inside as well as outside even though they were taken at different times, well done. Looking forward to see more like this one.

    I like when the engines "roar to life"...at start-up. It remind me of a powerful animal being woken and beginning to think about hunting for food. Then the roar at takeoff thrust is "pursuing its prey." Maybe a bear, lion, tiger, or cheetah.

      full power is rarely used on takeoff for various reasons...fuel burn, saving the engines, noise abatement etc. Often more power is added after take off when out of noise abatement areas and engine efficiency. "Readers Digest" version. hope that helps

      topgun767 there is no real "set" setting for takeoff,climb etc. It is ALWAYS different. Factors are weight, weather, location, air traffic, fuel, etc.

    • @RDWGstudios
      @RDWGstudios 9 лет назад

      Below 10,000ft you're not allowed to exceed 220 knots and so thrust is reduced once they near around 210 in order to stay within the air speed limits.

    • @Yolinstrun4e182
      @Yolinstrun4e182 9 лет назад

      David Zhang here is no real "set" setting for takeoff,climb etc. It is ALWAYS different. Factors are weight, weather, location, air traffic, fuel, etc. Like VarykGerai said.. Many factors as to why thrust was not a set and go deal in the video.

    • @erikberzehyytiainen4282

      No it was conslation

    • @Cl4rendon
      @Cl4rendon 9 лет назад +3

      Dumping fuel on full thrust and climb... What sense would that make?
      it`s neither fuel dump or "conslation". The effect is called Vortex and results from pressure differences & moisture around the wing.

    • @jaydentjmuso
      @jaydentjmuso 9 лет назад

      thanks i didnt know

    • @omfgCantGetaUsername
      @omfgCantGetaUsername 9 лет назад

      Cl4rendon I guess he assumed that because the fuel dump looks similar to the wake turbulence vortex effect near the wingtips except it appears in a narrow vapor like trail. You are correct though I don't know why he'd think they'd dump fuel right above the runway. That'd be unsafe!

  • @gta4everrr

    6:45 - what causes that mist on wings?

    • @MrCars
      @MrCars 10 лет назад +2

      The air passing over the wings is accelerated by the shape of the wing, as compared to the air below it.
      Whenever you increase the velocity of a fluid (air is a fluid), you decrease the pressure and also decrease the temperature. What you are seeing is water vapor in the air condensing as the temperature of that air drops below the dew point.
