You both are beautiful sister's with dope locs. I'm in-between the two of you with 199 locs. I self started with interlocking and two strands twists. It took me a little while to get the parts right, I was getting frustrated, then someone's video said "part it like you would for braids". LIGHTBULB!!! I'm so in love with my hair and super plus my husband loves it too, although he reminds me that he misses my afro 😏 I have a confidence that I have searched for my whole life. I'm proud that I started and maintain all by myself. Locs are where it's at 🎁😍 Many blessings 🌻🌷🌹🎀

Do you mean from with microlocs or traditional locs? I’ll speak for me with microlocs - I just use a scarf around my edges when I clean my face and dab with some witch Hazel around the edges when I have any build up. I wash every 2 weeks.
