- Hi friends! I recently purchased a King of Tone after being a long time Browne Protein user. I absolutely love the protein, but I found the KOT local for a decent price. Which one is your favorite?!
Keep in mind, I have these setup how I would use them. Clean boost / Light breakup into a heavy drive.
My KOT is the High Gain red side, BUT the seller had it changed over to the red side being the lighter drive and the yellow being the heavier side. This was to give the same right to left sequence as your typical signal chain.

Definitely! The KOT is priced crazy, but I still reccomend both. Definitely get your hands on a protein! I’ll never get rid of it.

I got on board Analogman's list on 2022 and they are shipping orders from 2018 as of now. I still have like four more years to wait for a pedal..

@@michaelperrier7962 sorry I’m just seeing this! I’d probably use a hard clipping distortion like the rat for soloing. Both these pedals are overdrives so I personally wouldn’t use them for that!
How do you have the dip switches set for the KOT?

Hey what’s your honest opinion on the compadre compressor?
@@JoseAntonio_90 it’s not too bad, but I felt it wasn’t super transparent. It colored my tone too much!
