    dear sir why in first example n= 6 (6 dices thrown 729 times) and in second example n =5 ( a dice thrown 5 times)

    In third example how p(X=x) ie:, p(X=3) where did you get the value of x=3?? There's no hit from the question of the value of finding x

      Listen Friend ... When we devide 5 , the total No. of Members into two Equal Division , then we get 5/2 = 2.5
      That's why , the no. of Students must be Greater than 2.5 , i.e. min. 3 to occupy The Large no. of Seats ...

    Respected sir, I have a doubt.. In example 1 take n=6 and aviod 729 times..
    In example 2 take n=5 and avoid die..
    Means number of die dekhna ya no. Of times.. N basically lena kisko h.. Ek mein apne number of dice ko assume kiya aur ek mein number of times ko N liya..
    Plz clear this doubt

      In example where you have to find "How many times ".. So you have to avoid times and take n=6...

    sir in example 1 the six dice is thrown 729 times means the event is performed 729 times why you didn't take 729 as value of n ? kindly take my question.

      Random experiment is throwing a dice and given that six dice are thrown... Thats why n=6 instead of 729... Moreover, you have to find no. Of times, not no. Of dice.

    Sir,I didn't get why you chose( x>= 3) for majority as students... I mean you could have chosen 4 as well...

      There are 5 members and majority means no. of students should be greater than no. of teachers in those 5 members so if we choose 1 student for the member then rest of them will be teachers so students will be minority, same for 2 students but if we choose 3 students, students will become majority as there will be only 2 teachers
