Ellie's got the right idea, I'm not crazy about running in the rain but I feel WAY more accomplished when I've gotten out and done it.

Running in the rain is my absolute favorite thing to do. Maybe not for a speed workout but a long run in the rain, heavenly!

Loved it. Did haigh woodlands and it was a total river ankle deep most of the way round. Gave up trying to keep feet dry after 5 minutes. Finishing meant I've completed all Greater Manchester parkruns at least.
Yeah the conditions at my local where terrible! I had no idea we'd had so much rain over here!

I can imagine the shock running in the cold compared to Iten. I've got slush, ice and snow and -5C here in Sweden :-)

Wasn't looking forward to parkrun on Saturday either but once you get running it's ok and you can't beat the feeling of getting it done.

I've been daily vlogging for almost a year now and I understand what you're saying with the RUclips algorithm thing haha. Sometimes I am like "Yes this video is so so nice" and then it barely even gets any views. The next day I upload a vlog with a little bit more "clickbait" but a boring day and then it gets a ton of views.
Then I'm like noooooooo people will think I'm boring now 😆
Anyways, goodluck with the vlogmas, I look forward to watching your videos everyday and they inspire me :)

Why don’t you do parkruns more often? Great for speedwork and meeting new people… it’s free as well unlike these big events that cost a fortune I do it every Saturday aiming for 500

It wasn’t raining during my ParkRun this week but I did the course check when it totally chucked it down! So 5km course check in heavy rain, 2km warm up (drills & strides) in heavy rain but the run itself was OK. As our course is very much a trail course the puddles were mid shin deep as was the mud. I did my highest ever place at 9th but only 51 runners but I’ll take it anyway!!!
Wow, that just goes to show the conditions really do have an impact on performance. Anyone who got a parkrun done this weekend deserves a medal!
