Cuomo contradicted himself. He said that terrorism, war crimes and similar atrocities cannot be justified by prior violent events. Well, if that argument applies to October 7th attack (which I completely agree with Cuomo on that), then it certainly also must apply to the relentless, daily war crimes that the IDF has been committing against the Palestinian people ever since the October 7 attacks. Terrorism and war crimes, as he said, have no justification whatsoever, no matter who did them or who started. Nothing justifies the killing of innocents, especially children.

If you don't know well more it is Israel who has created, supported Hamas in 1987 to divide Palestinians against EL-Fatah whose leader was Yasser Arafat, who along the way became wise and influencial in the world and Israel wants to diminish its influence. More than 65% of Palestinians do not support Hamas. Hamas won the election in 2006 with the support of Israel but since then there was no new election held. Cornel west goes soft on these guys in these interviews, probably due to his faith. I have no such restrictions...The west was JUST AS HOSTILE TO THE ANC and to all other African liberation movements back then as they are to Hamas now. The fact that in general, the ANC was far less barbaric, partially because it had a different world view, and partially because it sought to reach white hearts and minds in the west was irrelevant to most of those in the white west whom it was trying to reach...I remember a whole lot of cheering and justification in the west when the Boers mowed down hundreds of unarmed black and colored school children. Then the same people would turn to the black people and lecture them about anger and non violence and about "reverse racism..." I have all the respect and admiration for Dr West for being honest and brave to speak up his mind in every debate or interview. His sarcasm was on target when he told Dershowitz to get off the crack pipe for being biased against innocent Palestinians and justifying the killing of innocent civilians in Gaza and not condemning the massacre of children since they were Palestinians and not Israelis.
