a - juliet had the feather tattoo before she even met andy. she's had it for a long time, as a tribute to her cherokee heritage and andy modled his after hers. b - andy's the one who cut her hair because she'd been dying it / using extensions for so long that it wasn't all that pleasant. he also does his own hair, ergo, it's going to look alike. she doesn't need to "copy his success", she's got her own.
He said he'd dye it black soon, plus it's his hair he can do what he wants.

she has cherokee in her family, but she's not directly a cherokee. it's in her blood, however, and the culture was a part of how she was raised -- i believe the "i carry the fire" mantra that is kinda her families motto derives from cherokee culture as well. her image might be strange, but it sets her a part, for better or for worse. the reason i brought up the fact that andy cut it is because that would be why they were done so similarly, not because she's copying him or anything like that.

while everyone's idea of success differentiates, i would say that she's on her way for sure if not already there. not to the extent of your examples, but wild child was on mtv, where her former band was actually featured quite a few times, her music videos have a significant number of views, as do her performances on the voice, which people still use to compare others to. perhaps she's not currently "successful", but neither is andy or bvb by those standards. either way, she doesn't need him.
