Automatic MV! it was released around the same time as Ice Cream Cake so they’ll all be blonde again but it’s one of their best songs to date even if it isn’t exactly a title track.
🎂 Conceptually, "Birthday" is quite similar to FMR. It's built around Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" and the MV visuals are again, um... weird. 😊 It also references other RV songs (as do several other RV songs.)
Suggezt “One of These Nights”. Many say its a tribute to a tragic incident. What would you think? Plus.... The recording behind videos of more current mv’s...they have nothing to hide.
‘Seulgi’ is an ancient Korean word that means wise. It means the name of the woman who is the wife's favorite. In Korean, it is written as '슬기' Learning Korean characters, Hangul, is very easy. You can learn it in 1 day. It is a phonetic symbol and cannot be pronounced differently. (The alphabet has many different sounds)
Yeeeees!! If you guys want to go on this journey more, there's also the behind the scenes videos for the recording and the mv. I personally strongly suggest the recording bts video. Love all the rv contents as always. Have a good new year's!
The most stunning MV in kpop in my humble opinion belongs to one of Red Velvets oldest releases - Automatic. And a very fun live performance and choreo of Red Velvet is Rookie if you wanna check it out (i am personally not crazy about the MV tbh)
Definitely watch the Performance Video of this on the official Red Velvet channel - ruclips.net/video/Bl0s-1c5L0M/видео.htmlsi=vt3PTS6yA0NaPKGe It’s the most beautiful music video I’ve seen
After Wendy's terrible accident, it wasn't a certainty she would ever sing again. She came back with this song which has a thank you message in the middle of the video to her fans for supporting her during the difficult times. Unlike many rection channels, you look like you're genuinely having fun doing the reactions which makes it fun to watch.
It's great to see you guys enjoying the music and performance😊 By the way, the first way she pronounced Seulgi was correct😂 It is not easy to pronounce hahaha Thank you for the reaction video guys!
May I request a reaction to a video called “the ULTIMATE red velvet tier list” by winterosy? Not only might it give you ideas of new Red Velvet songs to listen to, but it’s very interesting and will give you guys a lot to talk about. The editing of the video is beautiful and the point of view of their discography is actually really cool. It’s about 45 minutes long, but it’s 100% worth a watch. EDIT: I also just have to say I do not agree with everything on the list, and the RUclipsr is very opinionated, but there is so much stuff he goes into that I never would have thought of and it’s so cool.
Yayyyy! I just finished watching and commenting on the MV and this is up for 1 min I'm so here for it, thank youuuu! They're inviting us along on a ride across the boundaries of this world and the bounds of time. Just go with it hahaha We're gonna follow the music and dance to the moonlight and all that jazz (I'm loving the champagne glass theory though)
Zimzalabim mv is trippy (you heard a bit in "Killing Voice" the Rookie mv is like a fever dream in Narnia, it also has a dance practice video. And I'm going to mention the video that came out a week after FMR, Wildside
Seriously, I think even with all their amaaaaazing title tracks, Wildside is forever going to remain near the top of my list. There is just something about SM groups and their Japanese releases....
@@alongfortheridereacts There used to be this reality tv show called We Got Married and they would pair up various idols with each other and play act as if they are actually married, filming various cute scenarios with the "couples" and audiences ate it up because back then was not like now. Now some fans go nuts if there's any sort of interaction between male and female idols. But back then people loved to ship and tune in for what the latest adorable moments were. I would say it was semi-scripted, like there were certain scenarios and a direction that scenes are supposed to go, but the idols didn't have to memorize lines or something. They were still just speaking as themselves within the scenario.

What you would feel strange about SM videos, is connected to this SM Universe promoted by aespa! We will see it clearer in 2024 SM Universe season 2! 2024 is also the 10 year anniversary of Red Velvet! 🥰😉
You might want to check out their Feel My Rhythm Performance Video too! Filmed on a beautifully built set, audio a little different from the music video one with their voices standing out more. No need to record but definitely a delight to watch if you have time!
🏖️ AFTR, please check out RV's "Umpah Umpah" (Aug 2019) -- it's a fun summer bop (they don't even try to kill you!) The song lyrics include other RV titles (in Korean or English, such as Dumb Dumb, Red flavor, Happiness, Ice Cream Cake) and pre-dates FMR with the repeated English line "Feel the rhythm". Definitely something unforgettable. 😉
If you really want to get technical, it should be pronounced as see-ool, but as one syllable. Kind of like syool. It's not easy for a westerner to replicate so most people just go with sool, which is generally acceptable.
Seulgi is and will remain an excellent choice of bias 🤌🏻🐻

Automatic double title-track with ICC but not popular because at that time netizens liking red fun song more

Btw, now that you know both Red Velvet and BtoB I would like to mysteriously tell you that Sungjae and Joy were once "married" lol.
Whaaaaaaat???? Like... for real???

Uno de los mejores MV de Red Velvet. Nuestras princesas son verdaderas artistas.
You guys should also react to their solo and sub unit release!
Seulgi (슬기) is actually a little like “silky” but with a ‘g’. Definitely closer to ‘sil’ than a ‘sool’
FYI, the "eu" in seulgi is pronounced like the a in "about" it's a uhhh sound not an oo!
2:05 Actually Seul-gi's "seul" is pronounced the same as "sle" in "sleep”.! It’s little bit difficult haha😊
no it's not "sle"...😢
Yeah! When you would say ‘sleep’ in 2 syllables, the first one is right ‘seul’ from Seul-gi!
@@adyacs6550 if you're pronouncing "sleep" in two(!) syllables... you're doing it wrong. 😂
