I have found some restriction to the steering lock with mudguards and mirrors fitted, but wouldn't trade them for a smaller turning circle. What helps in this situation is angling the mirror mounts backwards rather than what seems the "obvious" right angle position.
I like the adjustable bars but would be a bit concerned about debris (sticks primarily) hitting one of the quick release levers at an unlucky angle while the trike is in motion. I suppose you would still be able to steer with your other hand, though.
