If I can get it in the regular game I don't seek out private servers. Since you cant even get a miccyD meal for 15$ now. So money isnt the driving factor for me.

This is great as a proof of concept. In my opinion, what makes OSRS GREAT is the progression systems involved. Earning new teleports and useful items through diaries, quests, other content is really what drives the game. Strictly just being able to kill stuff and level to 99 in skills isnt enough. Remember the first time you unlocked new gloves through Recipe for Disaster? HUGE milestones for the account.

I grew up playing WoW, I tried runescape a few times but just couldn't get into it, but although I don't enjoy playing runescape, for some reason I love watching youtube videos on the history of runescape and the shenanigans that have happened in that game. I have always wished that runescape and wow could be combined so that I could learn about runescape and enjoy the lore and world of runescape without having to play the game style, because I just don't like it. But now this game is going to come out and now I will be able to play runescape and enjoy the gameplay while finally being able to be apart of the runescape community and actually experience the boss fights and now I will know where everything is located in the world and will be able to appreciate and understand the youtube lore runescape videos I watch from Colonello's youtube channel

Custom animations and custom models for treasure chests that look like the items in the chest which only have that item on their drop table, after the world and quests and dungeoneering is added so that item drops look 1:1 and so not every item drop has to look like a chest. 16:25
Honestly, I'll give it a shot once it comes out in Alpha/Beta. It's been a while since I've played OSRS and this could be the breath of fresh air + Nostalgia I need! Can't wait to try it out!
This is amazing work! I think it will become very popular across many demographics. A point to note - I think RuneScape made way too many travel methods and teleports that allow you to get directly anywhere without much effort - it makes the world feel small. Please keep this in mind during development!
It's actually very easy to put Cataclysm models for all characters into the game. Water as well there are patches already made you can make the player download; best way is to have a executable file also that run a batch file or Powershell and just downloads them.
Oh man this gets me really excited. This is wonderful. You know what I've always wanted in OSRS, but it's never gonna happen... mounts. It would be cool if mounts required agility levels and it was the way to go faster based on agility somehow "1:1" with run speeds and maybe the higher the agility and the mount ridden, the slower the energy drains.
Lumby castle is as decently designed as humanly possible. I was admin on one of the biggest Wow private servers, and building something custom with blocks is seriously difficult and time consuming. The great thing about using the wow client is that all the assets and houses are singular objects, so you can easily build half a city in an hour. But building lumby castle probably took 2 whole days. Anyway wish ya'll a lot of succes and i'll gladly test the alfa. It's been a long time since i've seen WoW and i'm looking forward to seeing it in Gielinor.
Would you be willing to adjust the tooltips so that it appears based on the cursor location so that your eyes don’t have to move as far when reading about an item

I noticed during the dungeoneering segment the boss and his minions all ended up on the same tile, is this something that will be worked on to make it easier on targeting? You got the Winged Ravagers (WoW) that could also be used for some Kalphite models then the Classic Boss Wasp WoW model for the Kalphite Queen :)
