Can i have the video link for adding the top plate and bottom plate please. How i want to see if the beam is pass or fail according to design standard?

Adding Top or/and Bottom Plates to a steel beam is very easy.
When you select the steel beam click on TC ( Top Cover Plate) if you want to add top plate or Click on BC (Bottom Cover Plate) if you want to add botom Plate.
Or click on TB (Top & Bottom Cover Plate) if you want to add top and bottom plates to the steel beam.
Once you choose the option you need you can add the plate width and thickness

@@TheEngineeringChannel-qn6hk Thanks. If using plate as shown in this video, I just need to assign the total plate thickness which is flange thickness + new plate thickness right?
And if I using method as you mention in replied, is it posible to check the member adequacy or the UC ratio in staad? Thanks in advanced.

I though it was one side fixed pin and another side roller... Why you undertand it as one side fixed pin and another side as normal pin??

That mean is web stiffener does not effect.

Yes. Adding the web stiffeners don't reduce the beam deflection. If you have existing steel beam/s and you need to reduce its deflection, this can be made by adding top or bottom plate to the beam's flange
