There is an issue while giving topbracings in the top view..it is assigned in support nodes.when see it 3D it can be noted. Pls suggest how to give topbracings..we expect to reply..and pls make regard shear and moment connection design videos pls..im doing industrial project.im watching your video and pursuing. It is so helpful..i have to prepare some more building.so only..pls reply soon.
Thank you for your nice feedback and following my videos........ I suggest when you give top bracing then use isometric view rather than top view, it will help you to avoid wrong selection ..... hope it will help you .... please like the videos when you watch to support me

Hi sir, In staad software for designing of steel structure there are two possibilities in rafter 1.Tapered section 2. Uniformed section mostly in PEB rafter, Tapered section is going. If tapered section means can we provide purlin as direct load members or need to convert the load and applied on columns in STAAD ce. i don't find any videos regard this issue sir.. our case is two.1. Industrial PEB 2.Badminton PEB 1.Indutrial PEB actual design done by us is Uniform section (rafter) with purlins as indiviual loads.. 2.Badminton PEB - actual desing tapered section (rafter) with purlin load calculated and applied on columns.. these two issues is raised due STAAD pro software. If tapered section purlin cannot apply the loads as individual in the bentley staad software.. can you pls clarify in this.. regard engineering technical issues?

There is so many things need to improve if you are going to design a serious design project for implementation in site. Especially the wind load is not so simple like what you described.

You are giving I section beam property to purlins and for rafters and columns C sections.. It is not possible in almost any case.. And for wind loads in India there are lots of cases like pressure, suction.. This is very very low information about the industrial warehouse.. Btw Nice try 👍

Load of solar panel should be be applied on the members of tappered portion in gravity direction

Suppose the span is large and warehouse is covered by steel roof plate, what would be LY, LZ for slenderness of ratfers and its allowable value?
