Jokes aside, many of us including myself wanted a top spec'd OnePlus and is still cheaper than the competition. There's also a regular 8 anyway including a Z version on it's way so I guess it's unfair to bash them imo. 🤷♂️
@@counterscam6547 I guess oneplus is now comparing themselves to the 20plus like crazy expensive flagships. How interesting Apple released the SE not long after, what a coincidence for them

Its like Saying the iPhone 6 I bought in my country (Singapore) must have a battery indicating that its from Singapore. No, the battery is made in Thailand
I chuckled a bit when I realized that the fan isn't proprietary or not uniquely design specifically for or by the OnePlus -- it's literally a laptop fan 😅 it's baffling that it is priced $80
So One Plus 8 Pro has no cables to the backplate, large tab for battery, standard screws, modular components and it scores lower than the iphone 11? Wack.
UV glue got into my reciever while applying screen protector and now the volume for calls and other things is very low.....How do I fix or clean the reciever??
So what do you do if the display gets damaged? I discovered with my OnePlus 3T that a broken display is somewhere between a nightmare and a death sentence since it requires the entire phone to be stripped down in order to be replaced, disappointing to see that it's still much the same with the 8. I'd much rather have the rear glass be the one that is glued in with all the components, so that most people will stand some chance of being able to fix it at home should they damage the display.
The side camera is the 8 megapixel telephoto, and the small camera in the main camera array is the useless color filter one. How can you guys make such apparent mistakes?
Absolute legent these videos are right on the mark with the environmental issues we have today in this throw away society. Thanks and keep them coming.
OnePlus never had mid range specs? Think you gotta change the description. Not having wireless charging or ip68 rating in previous phones doesn't make it mid range lmao
@@shvkpr1 You probably don't understand smartphone prices very well. Companies always sell products with a large part of the price being profit. The new additions hardly cost them $200 per phone to include. The biggest place to watch this happen is Apple, where you have to sadly overpay literally everything.
hey iFixit ! great, now I can guess any I fixit teardown score before looking at in the video. continuously guessed 11 scores. .. yea its difficult to make everything repairable when things become complex.. but one plus and Xiaomi do their best. At least in India, we break a lot of phones. Someone said it well "glass is glass, and glass breaks!". OnePlus and Xiaomi giving great service in India. "Apple … are you listening? yea, that's true ". i am just thinking it will be great if these companies provide parts for users to replace who are willing to .. also they kind of provide us with swappable upgrade parts like screen etc. and charge accordingly for the parts. Because when u can repair and upgrade u contribute less to e waste.
Wtf are you talkting about. The sensors are from sony, storage from samsung, display is also not build by them. no fucking company makes 100% by themselves because it would be way too expensive to have manufacturing sites for every little compenent
Oneplus uses Samsung RAM Samsung storage Samsung Camera lenses Apple uses Samsung OLED Displays That shows Samsung is No 1 when it comes to innovation and manufacture
OnePlus is a shitty company. Once they sell you their devices, you're basically on your own. My OnePlus one charger got spoilt after about 2 years or so. I called up to enquire about a new charger etc. They said, the company has stopped supporting the device sir. You can't get any spare parts for OnePlus one. Which shitty company stops supporting their flagship devices after 2 years. You guessed right, it's OnePlus. Even Xiaomi ends up supporting their devices for upto 3-4 years. I can still get a redmi note 3 battery replaced. Xiaomi still has spares for redmi note 3 but not OnePlus. Once your device starts giving issues, you're basically on your own. Samsung, Apple keep spares for their old devices but OnePlus...no... Don't even think abt it. I have been charging that device with 3rd party chargers. That's my main problem - lack of spare parts and unreliable after sales support and service.
When you become the very thing you swore to destroy.

Where is the NFC on the OnePlus 8 Pro?
That bottom camera jn the main group is the color filter camera, NOT the telephoto, the camera in the side camera is the telephoto
The cameras description is wrong
Didn't it have a weird colour sensor instead of the depth sensor?
Will you guys post a teardown wallpaper for the 8 pro?
Where is the haptic vibration motor? Does the vibration intensity feels strong?
I hear it's on par with other flagships. However it's sharper where the iPhone's is deeper
