Pile 2 really resonated. We had something very sweet and beautiful, and it seemed so obvious to me he felt the same. But then he pushed me away, told me he is straight - we are both men (your rainbow remark in the opening really fit there. Also the birds, I have always connected certain birds to him). It was awful. He really broke both my heart and my trust. I distanced myself from him as a result, and I've noticed it affecting him. It has been a horrible period, the break, the pain, the separation, his dishonesty, for I really do feel deeply for him.
