I went to see them at the end of may in New Orleans and they played the entire LTOTM album and it was absolutely incredible. If the entire redux album is pretty much how they played it live its gonna be unbelievable!!
as someone who screams and sings, i enjoy i enjoy singing this version better because the vocal range is easier and the screams are heavier but the original is definitely more emotional and nostalgic. i cant wait for deaths hand and Pittsburgh
I started listening to them when this album came out and saw them live as my first ever live show Now i get to see them again later this yeae for the 7th time when they play let the ocean take me in full
I like Joel and Ahrens vocal range more in the original, but this hits hard. The new mixing and mastering and instrumental changes make up for it. Joel used to never do mids to lows and it does work for this but I wish he would’ve done more with his vocal range.
@@EmpReactsJoel has always had a very good vocal range. But starting with chasing ghosts his highs had wayyy more emotion to it and had something almost indescribable about it. Hell thy art is murder even had him on a song called “doomed from birth” and he fit it so well with that. Now his vocal style seems to cater to him getting older and there’s nothing wrong with it. Sounds good still gets the emotion and energy across just not the same. Same with ahren. Ahren over the last 5-6 years doesn’t seem to try to hit those same notes anymore
Us Amity fans have been eating good the last couple years! I cant wait to hear F.M.L and Lost and Fading, my two favorite songs off LTOTM
I can’t wait to hear Deaths Hand, The Weigh Down, and Don’t Lean On Me!
Death's Hand and Give It All are the ones I'm looking forward to the most.
So hype for this. Already was my favorite album from them; just icing on the cake at this point
Banger album last year, redux of a banger album this year! September 27th can't come soon enough!!

I love it when bands re make old albums because the next original album always feels extra nostalgic

It does seem a bit more tame vocally. Original just had that raw emotion, especially in this song, every word from Joel felt like a knife.

it was insane
react new jinjer song "someone's daughter"
Kinda sounds like "dull" the first version sounds more hype to it.
That's fair. The emotion of the original could never be matched.
Funny, I feel quite opposite. Redux gives me much more hype :D
Couldn’t disagree more, the orchestral strings and polished production make this sound absolutely massive
It’s redux. Pronounced Re-ducks
