Hello! To help narrow down suggestions. Please do thumbs up the ones that you’d like me to notice for future videos. I’ll be more likely to go back and consider suggestions that have many thumbs up. But at the end of the day, I will also pick ones I like. Regardless of the amount of likes.
Here are just some ideas I had! 1. Liminal spaces mixed with a giant store, like Ikea or Home Depot 2. Liminal spaces combined with Disneyworld at night 3. Liminal spaces on the moon?? 4. Frutiger aero mixed with old historical black and white photographs 5. Liminal lego spaces!
Stores like ikea are some of the most liminal experiences I've had in my entire life. Something about shopping with your parents, only to go ahead or lag behind just a little, and see one of those empty isles. You got those massive shelves, the industrial ceiling, and those giant boxes crammed with *stuff*, like the unused stock or something. It's liminal, but it also makes you feel pretty small, like you should consider heading back to your parents.
Just gonna dig up one of my old suggestions I'd still like to see, and some new ones :) > After hours malls/ department stores > Abandoned frutiger aero > Carnival/ circus liminal spaces > Silent Hill liminal spaces Thanks as always, and please keep em coming! :)
Thanks! This video i made is basically abandoned frutiger aero btw ruclips.net/video/ayMfarnNGLk/видео.html . Good idea on the silent hill ones I gotta do that.
Another Lovely video! ❤ Happy to see some more 50s image's being made ! Very happy to see more voices coming into our heads 👀 Keep up the grand work! ❤
@@liminalai Oh no! It's going to end up sounding like a party 24/7!!, Our brain's will never rest... They'll just become chat room's for the AI voices, And storage for there liminal photo's 😆
3:33 what a cool suggestion! And your video is uploaded exactly at my birthday! I turned 18 today, so theese nostalgic birthday images remind me of the childhood, which is gone forever for me since this day. What a lovely coincidence, just like a birthday gift from one of my favourite channels!
Amazing content, loved the moai 🗿. Would be nice to see the moai in the poolrooms. Another idea that I thought could be cool was making liminal malls flooded.
Hey there, glad you did my suggestion! Here's another suggestion for you: Combining a street or the house from Wallace & Gromit with any liminal space you'd like. Killer video, as always. Keep going lad!
Have you ever talked about The Stanley Parable before on this channel? Because honestly I feel like the sound design and some of the rooms can give off a weird feeling, especially because of there's basically no one throughout the entire game. I feel as if the stanley parable is never talked about in regards to liminality
I also had two more ideas: 1. Liminal spaces based on BG art from DDLC 2. Liminal spaces based on locations from Yume Nikki Also I hope its alright I write so much comments!
Also 5:41 is super dreamy. This is exactly something am sure I saw in a dream. (Which makes sense cuz its a mix of my photos) I just love how your generated liminal spaces are so semi-yes semi-not comfortingly all oddly familiar.
Great spaces and suggestions as usual! You should try combining some images of the Aquatar Water Park with some of the classic liminal spaces. I got great results when I tried it, and I want to see what you can do with it yourself
these are awesome images, especially the ivan seal ones (the "it's just a burning memory" poolrooms hybrid looks really cute to me for some reason and i love it!) and the lsd dream emulator spaces.
Hello, great video and atmosphere as always. For a suggestion, can you combine the Caretakers an empty bliss beyond this world cover with liminal ai? Thank you.
Huge thanks for doing my suggestion! The mix of the four spaces look phenomenal! ❤ Would absolutly adore if you made more with some of the other ones ^^ Love your videos!
Hello my name is Maryam, liminal spaces are my escapism, and the beautiful oldie calming voice talking about liminal spaces is the best thing ive discovered. I dont know people who share my obsession of the backrooms, so your channel is a huge comfort for me. I really hope more people discover your channel and you blow up, please never change. For my suggestion could you please pick a handfull from one of alfaoxtrot liminal photohraphy videos and merge them together with a random underated level. Or just merge your favourite pics from the video together. Thank youuuuuu
I don't know what it is, but i really like the image at 5:45 heres a suggestion: use some images of backrooms level 13, and have the AI make them into a victorian style. amazing video! thank you for making these, i really enjoy them :)
Great job, and I think I have two nostigic ideas for you, one the poolrooms mixed with a 1920s ballroom two Liminal spaces mixed with paintings by Rene Magritte
I have played the liminal gallery ones, I liked them a lot. I’m considering doing a lets play of some of those maps some time, and places from your dreams.
Great video! I might as well rename myself to 'LiminalFox' after this one hahah, also I didn't mind your version of the happy birthday song, infact I actually really liked it! Thank you Liminal AI for making my Birthday a really liminal and happy one.
@@liminalai For sure! I actually liked my idea of changing the name a little bit, I really like astronomy and space, hence why I used to be 'galactical' but I figured liminal spaces is my real interest.
Another excellent video! Liminal spaces are an unexpected escape Here’s a suggestion: real world racetracks in combination with various other liminal spaces
thanks for doing my suggestion! I found about you a week ago and love your content. And i don't mind that you tried different liminal spaces, since i also kinda started to get tired of level 94 too hehe
I have a cool idea, take images from the first 20 backrooms levels, layer them ontop of eachother at 5% opacity then use ai to make it into a single liminal space (probably use stable diffusion denoiser, but i dont know that much about image ais so, your call)
Oh wow I wonder if it would be able to make sense of that many images at once. I have a feeling it might have the effect of mixing too many colors of clay at once. But i’ll look into it regardless!
ok ok, i see my other suggestions slipped through the cracks so im back with another i think is just too good to pass up! super mario galaxy levels mixed with any liminal space, maybe focus on the cosmic element? feel like theres a lot of weirdcore potential in there
Thank you I always enjoy these! Not that ingesting but it came to me in a dream fields that are pitch dark but with clouds, thought you might want to run with the idea
Amazing montage and narration as always! A long time ago I used Stable Diffusion to generate images of a forest with lakes and fog. I wonder what Midjourney could do to embed things like that in indoor-areas such as malls and fast-food restaurants...
In preparation of the Five nights at freddy's movie, can we get some FNAF inspired liminal spaces? Other spaces that would be cool to see liminal are Super Mario Bros levels, and spongebob scenes!
"There was a time where every night I would fall asleep to a certain RUclipsr doing a Let's Play of this game. It is truly relaxing." - "I'm inside of Shrek's asshole I'm assuming… There's the Great Wall of China…" Also yoooooo, thanks for taking the suggestion. The first one that looks like a McDonald's restaurant inside a wet metro car was pretty interesting.
Idea/suggestion for liminal ai art (trying to go for stuff that's not been suggested yet): Backrooms Level 2 - "Abandoned Utility Halls" merged with creepy liminal spaces (whichever you want).
You should make some images of funhouses *like ones you go to as a kid for birthdays* really foggy and have apparitions of popular characters like SpongeBob in the distance! It would look so liminal
Another suggestion I thought of was: Try to combine as many liminal spaces as possible into one by quantity (Use some random ones you generated over the recent couple videos)
This is a good idea but when I combine too many like that, all the features of each one used in the combination are no longer apparent, and it almost starts to look like a totally unrelated liminal space haha
It would but i’ll have to see if its possible to tell which images were used in the end result. If it is i think i’d definitely do a section in the video for that.
7:38 this one is the most eerie for me since it actually looks extremely similar to the city where I work at. It's in a super flat area with the occasional brutality building while the restaurants are pretty modern looking.
Make a liminal space with the game "Luna Game 3D" It is honestly such a strangely liminal game that sends me back to a time before I was born. It is a horror game but some parts are really dreamlike since you cant see the vast expanse of the world... You just see the area you're in, and the sky, and there's nothing beyond. That's a true liminal space.
There's an album called "Staring At The Stars" by Diamond Dust. I don't know what aesthetic the album cover is but I can totally see liminal spaces being made in the same style
What about some liminal spaceship hallways? Something like the enterprise. Think the idea of a lone empty shop exploring the emptiness of space sounds like it could be very liminal.
I have an interesting request. The Hilton SeaHawk hotel, located in Fukuoka, Japan. Not any of the images you will find with a simple google search of it, though. Specifically the hidden basement/banquet area located deep underground. I got lost there attempting to find the parking garage for what seemed like hours. I would walk and walk and walk and walk, greeted by endless hallways and gigantic empty banquet rooms with nobody or nothing in them, besides maybe a few tables or seats. I just could not seem to find an exit or my way back to the elevator which I mistook for the one that lead to the parking garage. Eventually after what felt like hours of walking without getting anywhere, I began to hear faint piano playing. I’m unsure of what was being played, but it was the most beautiful melody I had ever heard. I followed it both out of curiosity and hopes that whoever was playing could maybe guide me towards an exit? I continued to walk endless hallways, making turns that lead directly into more endless hallways, until the piano music got louder and louder. I finally reached the corner of where the melody was coming from, but it just stopped. It wasn’t even like the song was over. It felt very abrupt. I turned the corner, and at the end of a very long hallway was a piano on a pedestal, with nobody in sight. Behind it was a giant circular staircase leading upstairs, where I was finally able to make it back to the normal “populated” floors through this weird emergency exit door thing at the top of the stairs. I still think about it sometimes. Who was playing that sweet melody? Where did the unknown piano player go off to? I have included a link to what few images I could find of the endless hallways/ the bizarre final hallway with the piano and stairs at the very end of it. I apologize for the low quality. postimg.cc/gallery/SXdCC87 I want to clarify yes, there are doors on both sides of this final hallway but they were both marked off with those pole/rope barrier things and locked at the time. I also want to mention that i literally turned the corner like 20 seconds after the piano playing stopped, so I surely would have seen the pianist leaving up the revolving staircase or going through a door. I still think about it sometimes. Anyways, I would love if you used these images by themselves or combined with any other liminal space of your choice! Sorry for the long story! I love your videos!!
2nd try of asking Do a split screen with the backrooms level 0 and the poolrooms and maybe some others like level 94 then denoise it Suggestion 2: combine backrooms level 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 with negative 9,223,372,036,854,775,807
The snow effect at 1:00 would have been more effective if you put three layers of the snow with smaller towards the background in a medium particle size in the middle ithe larger one towards the front it would give more depth. Awesome images!
NICE!!! Also you should blend a picture of Baldi's basics in education and learning and level 0 from the backrooms (Baldi's Basics In Education and Learning is a game, search it up!) 🗿
make a nostalgia image (like an arcade in the 80s) then add the song "Libet delay" by the caretaker, and (in my opinion) it instantly makes it decently more depressing.
Please, my favourite mental destinations are long spanning water labyrinths, wood and tile everywhere, waterfalls and mazes with a water floor... like a giant, unending indoor pool, a few sauna pit-stops here and there... maybe a good concise way of describing it would be: indoor pool backrooms?
What if you set up a thing where users could vote for the most liminal images to combine with AI to make them even more liminal, then combine those images with even more images and more images multiple times over until you had the most ultimately liminal image

Dang you got my bday parties as an unpopular child spot on 😭
rip to my pattern seeking brain while watching win xp bliss decaying into the void and the ai ivan seal paintings!
Watching now on McDonald's WiFi. I'm a little bit late to this one. Sorry about that mister BioShock voice.
No worries!
Sounds really cool! I’ll see what i can do
How about liminal spaces mixed with old Halo campaign levels?
What if you set up a thing where users could vote for the most liminal images to combine with AI to make them even more liminal, then combine those images with even more images and more images multiple times over until you had the most ultimately liminal image
Good idea! I think I'll do something like that in the community posts section.
