Thank you for sharing. I just made 6 of them. very easy directions to follow. I put a red pom pom on the nose and added a bell around the neck. can't wait to give the away.
I was searching for a unique way to give gift cards this Christmas and the first person I turned to was you and you did not disappoint!! Thank you so much!❤
Julie, I made graduation gift cards using this pattern. For some reason I put the first tape on the bottom but it worked out ok. I also made little boxes to put them in then I made keychains with our mascot and what sports they played I had ball charms to put on them as well. I made my own dsp with our colors, name of the school and mascot . I had to make 10 of them.
I made this along with you, using stickers instead of stamping. Just using what is on my desk - LOL Your instructions are spot on, I was able to stop and start the video as needed to follow right along with you. Thanks
this has all the cutes in one small package. and the vera bradley ribbon pull - but of course. i love your precision!!! and your christmas-colored wedding rings is the best!!!
Awesome 😍 This is just what I was looking for to make my diy business cards but with a unique and cute touch plus having space to add some pictures without make the card too overwhelming. 💖 Love it!!
Thanks for this very easy to follow tutorial. I love double sliders and roamed you tube for a tutorial without all the ready made punches. So glad I found you. I subscribed and hope to see lots of fun.
Oh Julie, this is totally amazing!! and you are correct, your video makes it super simple to follow, thank you so much for sharing. Stay healthy and safe. XO Maria.
WOW!!! This is the cutest gift card holder! Thank you for sharing this video, and making the process seem so easy! I can't wait to try this!! Thank you again!
I love this! I missed it for Christmas, but I'm sure I'll be using it for my son's birthday in January. Thank you! You just have the greatest projects.
Terrific project! I’m not sure I have a punch that will work for the sliding mechanism. If not, do you think careful use of an Exacto for the horizontal cut and then detailed scissors to cut down to the line?
I tried this three times with a cello bag and they got stuck in the opening position and would not close again. I’m going to try this one more time with your instructions.
What is the width of channel that the punch makes - an inch? I’d order the punch but it wouldn’t get here in time since I have to send a box of gifts within about a week. Thank you!
It is 7/8" wide. Depending on what you use to create the channel, just make sure the plastic strip is the same width so that your slider won't wiggle/wobble while sliding 😉
Ah. I have a 1” punch so would need to make the strip a tad wider. So tempted to order the punch from your link and keep my fingers crossed (which could make crafting a bit difficult).
I think you could if you were strategic with the folds so they don’t get caught while sliding up and down. You’d also want to use a repositionable adhesive so you don’t damage the bill.
Hi Lydia! Since I’m in the US, I only work in Imperial measurements, but I do recommend the Units Plus app for converting measurements. Imperial to Metric is like apples to oranges, so it may take a few tries, but I’ve found that app to be helpful 🙂
You never disappoint when I'm trying to understand how to construct the gift card holder. Thx so much BA

Yes! That would work!
Love this, can’t wait to make some!
Love this!

It’s possible it’s getting hung up on a seam if you’re using a cello bag. Try using a strip from a gallon bag if you have one?
Making this!!!!
OMG! I have to make this.... So stinkin cute

The 1” punch will work! Just cut your plastic strip to 1” then there’s no wiggle-room for the strip ❤️
Can i use,the circle punch?for sliding 🤔🙋🏽♀️🇳🇱
Good question! I’m not sure to be honest? Give it a try and see? I’m not sure the plastic will slide easily with a curved surface...
@@ThePaperPixie okay I’ll try tonight 😉👍thank you😊🙋🏽♀️🇳🇱
I only have round punches, I used a round one and it worked.
The bow looked more difficult than the card!
Could you attach money instead of a gift card?
I think you could if you were strategic with the folds so they don’t get caught while sliding up and down. You’d also want to use a repositionable adhesive so you don’t damage the bill.
👍🏻
anny one has this in cm?

Sad face would like to make but dont have the punch
No need for a sad face! There are other punches you can use or you can use a paper trimmer or utility knife to create the channel.
@@ThePaperPixie how long is the channel?
I recommend 7/8” to 1”. You’ll just cut your plastic strip to the same width ❤️
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
